The Impact You'll Make
Our Danfoss Power Solutions Team in Ames is seeking an experienced Supply Chain Specialist to join our team. This is a project-based role focused on logistics, warehousing, transportation, trade compliance and customer service globally.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Optimize logistics setup and process
- Support logistics initiatives focused on warehousing
- Transportation and trade compliance;
- Develop and implement logistics concepts reducing cost to serve and improving delivery services,
- Including changes to SAP setup
- TIP plans, documentation and presentations; participate in cross-functional improvement projects on local, regional or global level
- Ensure project objectives are met on time and within budget
- Act as system knowledge expert (SME) supporting as a central competency
- Support established KPl's with follow up structure (PDCA).
What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration
- 6 years experience in materials planning and production planning in a manufacturing facility
- 2 years experience using SAP in a Supply Chain role
