It is a chance to influence how tax is managed across one of Danfoss' most important markets.\nAs we establish this function internally, you will have the opportunity to define priorities, build capabilities, develop a team, and drive innovation through process improvements, digitalization, and modern tax practices.\nWhat You’ll Be Doing\nLead Germany's end-to-end tax agenda across corporate income tax, VAT, transfer pricing, and statutory reporting to ensure full compliance and business confidence.\nBuild and develop a high-performing tax team by coaching, setting priorities, and creating an environment of collaboration, accountability, and growth.\nPartner with business leaders, Finance, Group Tax, Legal, Shared Services, and external stakeholders to provide practical tax guidance and support strategic initiatives.\nDrive tax governance, risk management, and audit readiness to strengthen controls and support sustainable business operations.\nImprove tax processes through standardization, automation, and digital solutions that increase efficiency and help future-proof the function.\nWhat We're Looking For\nStrong expertise across German taxation, including direct and indirect taxes, gained in a multinational company, advisory environment, or both. A German Tax Advisor (Steuerberater) qualification is highly valued.\nProven experience leading people and developing teams while creating strong stakeholder relationships across different functions.\nAbility to navigate complexity, set priorities, and build effective solutions in a developing or evolving environment.\nExcellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate complex tax topics into clear business recommendations.\nFluency in German and English, both written and spoken. \nWhat You'll Get from Us\nAt Danfoss, you'll join a company with a strong purpose and a commitment to engineering solutions that enable a better future.\nThis role offers a rare opportunity to build something new.
