This is a hands-on technical role at the heart of how we win projects - combining deep product and system knowledge with close daily collaboration with designers, consultants, service partners and wholesalers in the region.\nYou will be the primary technical point of contact for our Sales team and for our external partners across the covered markets, working with a broad portfolio spanning heat exchangers, valves, controls, actuators and district energy stations. The role is central to keeping sales momentum in a growing project pipeline, and offers real scope to shape how we serve these markets going forward.\nWhat You’ll Be Doing\nAs Technical Sales, you will:\nPrepare technical offers for the Sales team based on Bills of Materials, tender specifications, and single inquiries - across the full HydronicS portfolio in scope (PL02, PL03, PL08, PL28, PL31, PL32, PL33, PL34, PL67)\nDevelop tender documentation, including datasheets, declarations of conformity, and technical comparisons between customer requirements and Danfoss solutions\nSupport designers and consultants through the design phase - product selection, system application, hydronic balancing improvements, energy efficiency optimisation, and control strategy (moving from constant flow to variable where applicable, applying dynamic balancing valves for better system operation)\nProvide compact station calculations and configuration, and PL67 piping network calculations. sometimes accompanied by DWG diagram changes.\nManage warranty claim control and complaint input in Salesforce - including site visits for critical products, coordinating lab testing between the field and Denmark/Slovenia factories.\nPerform hydronic balancing of manual balancing valves after installation using Danfoss hardware tools (dif. pressure measuring devices), delivering configuration and commissioning support on digital actuators, weather compensator controllers, and controllers for floor heating - typically as hands-on training for installers new to these devices\nDeliver technical presentations and trainings for designers, service partners and wholesalers - covering new products, technical fundamentals (hydronic balancing, automatic control, floor heating, district heating basics), and service topics\nSupport broader team activities including price list maintenance, technical documentation translation, and end user support\nWhat We're Looking For\nExperience & Knowledge\nBachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, HVAC, or an equivalent technical discipline\nSolid understanding of hydronic systems, including chilled water cooling and hot water heating - system design, sizing, and hydronic balancing\nExperience with HVAC controls, actuators, and district energy applications is a distinct advantage\nFamiliarity with tender processes, technical documentation, and working with designers and consultants in a project sales context\nPrior experience in a Technical Sales, Application Engineering, or Design Support role within the HVAC or building services industry\nSkills\nStrong technical and analytical skills - able to translate customer requirements into concrete product and system recommendations\nConfident presenter and trainer - comfortable delivering technical content to designers, partners, and wholesalers\nDetail-oriented, structured, and able to manage multiple concurrent project requests\nComfortable using Salesforce and standard commercial and technical software; ability to work with DWG diagrams is a plus\nFluent in Czech or Slovakian language and English.\nPersonal Competencies\nCustomer-oriented and hands-on - you enjoy solving real technical problems and supporting the field where it counts\nSelf-driven and organised, comfortable working independently across multiple countries and stakeholders\nTeam-oriented and collaborative, with the ability to work effectively with Sales colleagues, Service Partners, and internal support functions\nWilling to travel across the covered markets as required to support customers and partners on site\nOpen to evolving ways of working, including the use of digital and AI-enabled tools to improve technical sales workflows\nWhat You'll Get from Us\nTake ownership of the technical sales function across Czech and Slovakian markets in a role that directly shapes commercial outcomes\nWork with a broad and market-leading HydronicS portfolio, from heat exchangers and district energy stations to controls and floor heating\nBe part of a growing regional team with strong project sales momentum and clear development ambition\nFlexible and international working environment within one of Denmark’s largest global companies\nAccess to Danfoss training, internal networks, and the resources of Climate Solutions to develop your technical and commercial career\nReady to Make a Difference?\nThis position is being posted internally and externally to identify the strongest candidate for a business-critical role.
