By partnering closely with engineers, developers, and subject-matter experts, you'll ensure technical information is accurate, consistent, and easy to find.\nSuccess in this role means building a trusted, scalable documentation ecosystem that improves information accessibility, strengthens customer support, and enables future AI-driven knowledge and content solutions.\nAlthough this position is ideally based onsite in Tallahassee, FL, we recognize exceptional talent can be found anywhere and will consider highly qualified remote candidates whose experience closely aligns with the needs of the role.\nWhat You’ll Be Doing\nCreate and maintain technical manuals, spare parts instructions, customer bulletins, and related documentation that helps customers and internal teams effectively use and support Turbocor products.\nTranslate complex engineering and technical concepts into clear, audience-appropriate content that improves understanding, usability, and adoption.\nPartner with engineers, developers, and subject-matter experts to gather, validate, and organize technical information, ensuring accuracy and consistency across all documentation. Manage documentation projects, schedules, translation activities, and delivery milestones to ensure high-quality content is published on time.\nDevelop graphics, technical illustrations, schematics, and digital assets that enhance documentation effectiveness and strengthen the customer experience across documentation and e-commerce channels.\nMaintain the Turbocor website, customer bulletin database, and related document repositories to ensure users have access to current and reliable information.\nLeverage AI and digital tools to improve content creation, searchability, accessibility, and long-term usability while reducing manual effort through process improvements.\nWhat We're Looking For\nTypically 3+ years of experience creating technical documentation, including operating procedures, technical manuals, product documentation, or similar content.\nDemonstrated ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to a range of audiences and collaborate effectively with engineers and technical subject-matter experts.\nExperience using Microsoft Office applications and Adobe Creative Suite tools to develop professional technical content and visual assets.\nStrong project management, organization, communication, and attention-to-detail skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.\nPreferred qualifications\nBachelor's degree in Technical Communication, English, Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; equivalent professional experience will also be considered.\nExperience with MadCap Flare or similar technical authoring platforms.\nExperience maintaining websites and working with HTML/CSS.\nFamiliarity with Siemens NX CAD software.\nWhat You'll Get from Us\nWe promote from within and support your learning with mentoring, training, and access to global opportunities.\nYou’ll have flexibility, autonomy, and support to do your best work while maintaining a healthy work-life balance.
