Danfoss is seeking a Value Stream Manager to lead an assigned manufacturing value stream and deliver world-class performance in Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, and People (SQDCP) objectives.\nThe Value Stream Manager provides strategic and operational leadership for production operations while developing a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and employee engagement. This position serves as a key member of the site leadership team and is responsible for driving Lean Manufacturing initiatives, improving operational performance, and developing future leaders. Success in this role is measured by the ability to achieve business objectives while maintaining a safe, efficient, and customer-focused manufacturing environment.\nWhat You’ll Be Doing\nResponsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following:\nLead daily manufacturing operations to achieve safety, quality, delivery, productivity, inventory, and cost performance targets.\nDevelop, coach, and mentor supervisors, team leads, and production personnel while driving employee engagement, accountability, and talent development.\nChampion a zero-injury culture by ensuring compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements and leading incident investigations and corrective actions.\nDrive Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives including Kaizen, 5S, standardized work, visual management, waste elimination, and problem-solving activities.\nMonitor operational key performance indicators (KPIs), identify performance gaps, and implement corrective actions to improve efficiency, quality, and customer satisfaction.\nManage operational budgets, labor planning, resource allocation, and cost reduction initiatives while supporting strategic business objectives.\nCollaborate closely with engineering, quality, maintenance, supply chain, and human resources teams to support business goals and organizational change initiatives.\nSupport quality management systems, customer requirements, audits, and continuous improvement efforts to reduce defects, scrap, rework, and customer complaints.\nWhat We're Looking For\nRequired Qualifications\nMinimum 5 years of manufacturing leadership experience.\nMinimum 3 years of experience leading leaders, supervisors, or equivalent management roles.\nDemonstrated experience leading Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.\nProven ability to build, develop, and lead high-performing teams.\nExperience utilizing operational KPIs and data-driven decision making to drive business results.\nStrong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and decision-making skills.\nPreferred Qualifications\nBachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Manufacturing, Business, or a related field.\nLean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification.\nExperience within hydraulic, industrial, automotive, or highly automated manufacturing environments.\nExperience leading organizational change and cultural transformation initiatives.\nJob Criteria\nStrategic thinking and business acumen.\nResults-oriented leadership style with a focus on operational excellence.\nStrong communication, collaboration, and influence skills across all levels of the organization.\nAbility to lead change and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.\nDemonstrated commitment to continuous improvement and customer satisfaction.\nStrong talent development and succession planning capabilities.\nAbility to make effective decisions under pressure while maintaining focus on safety, quality, delivery, and cost objectives.\nWhat You'll Get from Us\nAt Danfoss, we believe that a diverse and inclusive workplace fosters creativity, innovation, and a broader perspective in decision-making.
