To provide critical direction to the sectional (operations) manager in ensuring that the equipment availability.\nKey Duties and Responsibilities\nResponsible for day to day maintenance activities & to ensure trouble free operation of all Electrical equipment’s from crusher to packing plant including power plant.\nEnsuring Equipment availability by maintaining enough critical spares, proper preventive maintenance and predictive maintenance.\nEnergy conservation best practice to be shared among the department peers and co department colleagues and ensuring the same on implementation part.\nKeep track on stores inventories and consumption on regular basis.\nAll critical Equipment regular health checks to be carried out with Department person and MIPS to ensure the equipment availability.\nEnsuring interruption power distribution to meet the plant requirement.\nCo-coordinating with NEPA / JOS authorities on time to time basis to ensure proper power utilization from grid power.\nOrganizing awareness in house training programme to all the department people on both safety and operation and maintenance in core field on regular intervals.\nSolving day to day Problems in plant operation.\nFocus on Energy saving aspect.\nCoordinate and monitor implementation of preventive and predictive maintenance in conjunction with relevant Section Heads.\nEnsure compliance of all electrical equipment in accordance with DCP/local safety regulations.\nEnsure electrical maintenance activities are performed in a safe, professional manner, in accordance with industry standards, environmental restrictions, original equipment manufacturers’ recommendations and DCP Standard Operating Procedures.\nEnsuring power report preparation on daily basis and monitoring the same on sustainable basis.\nOversee technical staffs in the performance of their duties and provide expertise as required.\nEnforce accident prevention and occupational health work procedures and regulations.\nProffer solutions to solve electrical problems to ensure optimization of equipment reliability.\nEnsure safekeeping of materials, tools, and equipment.\nOther additional assignments as entrusted by the management.\nEducation and Work Experience\nBachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.\nMinimum of twenty-Five (25) years of post-qualification experience\nSkills and Competencies\nGood knowledge of cement products and cement manufacturing processes.\nExpert knowledge of maintenance management methods, of predictive inspection tools and of CMMS (Computer Maintenance Management System),\nGood Knowledge in SAP all relevant modules like MM / PM etc.,\nExtensive knowledge electrical engineering and industrial automation,\nGood knowledge of safety legislation and rules\nGood knowledge of ISO 9000 standards and TPM\nGood oral and written communication skills\nMaking SOP’s / OPL / GTF / Do’s and Don’ts on all relevant locations.\nImplementing RCA techniques and WHY WHY Analysis and giving relevant training to peers on this technique.\nDeveloping model Area’s and Equipment’s all around the plant.\nOrganizational Awareness\nExcellent teamwork and collaboration skills\nInnovation &
