excavation, loading, trenching, and material handling activities.\nCarry out assigned earthmoving and excavation activities in line with operational requirements.\nConduct routine pre-start and post-operation inspections of the equipment.\nMonitor equipment condition and promptly report faults, defects, or maintenance requirements.\nEnsure proper positioning and safe operation of equipment within designated work areas.\nMaintain awareness of personnel, vehicles, equipment, and potential hazards within the operating environment.\nComply with all Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) requirements and safe operating procedures.\nMaintain cleanliness and proper care of assigned equipment.\nWork effectively with supervisors and other equipment operators to achieve operational targets.\nPerform other related duties as assigned.\nJob Specification\nEducation & Experience\nMinimum of Senior Secondary School Certificate (SSCE) or equivalent.\nTrade Test Certificate I, II or III in a relevant technical or vocational discipline is an added qualification.\nValid Class H Driver’s License is mandatory.\n3 to 8 years of relevant experience operating excavators, preferably within mining, quarrying, construction, cement, or other heavy industrial operations.\nSkills & Competencies\nGood knowledge of excavator controls and operating techniques.\nKnowledge of safe excavation, loading, and earthmoving procedures.\nAbility to conduct basic equipment inspections and identify mechanical or operational faults.\nGood understanding of HSE requirements for heavy equipment operations.\nStrong safety awareness and attention to operational instructions.\nAbility to work effectively in demanding operational environments.\nGood communication and teamwork
