In addition to core operative duties, the role provides on-shift leadership, ensuring standards are maintained, issues are resolved quickly, and the team is aligned to operational priorities. The role will also deputise for the Logistics Supervisor when required, supporting continuity of operations, service, safety, and efficiency across the warehouse.\n\nWhat you will be doing\nStock & Operational Control:\nMaintain high standards of accuracy across inbound, storage, picking, and dispatch activities.\nSupport and oversee goods receipt, checking, storage, and system updates in line with procedures.\nMonitor stock accuracy, investigate discrepancies, and support timely resolution.\nEnsure all handling, storage, and movement of goods meets safety, quality, and compliance standards.\nAct as a point of escalation for operational issues and ensure prompt resolution.\n\n·\nTeam Leadership & Coordination:\nProvide day-to-day direction and support to Logistics Operatives during the shift.\nAllocate tasks and coordinate workloads to ensure operational priorities are delivered.\nPromote safe working practices, hygiene standards, and adherence to procedures.\nSupport onboarding, training, and coaching of team members to build capability.\nAct as the first point of contact for operational queries, escalating where required.\nDeputise for the Logistics Supervisor when required, ensuring effective team coordination and decision-making in their absence.\n\n·\n Operational Performance & Process Management:\nSupport efficient warehouse operations, ensuring flow across inbound, storage, and outbound activities.\nMonitor performance against plan (e.g. throughput, accuracy, service) and highlight risks.\nMaintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment always.\nSupport continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and ways of working.\nCommunicate effectively with supervisors and wider teams to ensure alignment and smooth operations.\n\nWhat you will bring\nProven experience in Warehouse environment\nExperience managing FIFO/FEFO\nStrong working knowledge of SAP and Arolink\nExcellent organizational skills\nStrong attention to detail and problem-solving ability\nGood communication skills across all levels\nAbility to work in a fast-paced, multi-shift environment\nExperience in supervising multi-shift operations\nKnowledge of supply chain and warehouse processes\nWorking knowledge inventory or warehouse management\nWhy join us\nJoining Danish Crown in this role offers you exceptional autonomy to manage defined spend areas independently and directly influence our commercial outcomes.
