Trainer | Rochdale\nThe Production Trainer is responsible for developing and maintaining the capability of frontline teams to ensure production lines operate safely, consistently, and to defined are consistently applied across the site.\nThis role is very much slicing hall based and supports the transition from a reactive operation to a structured, disciplined, and capability-led environment.\n\nWhat you will be doing\nTraining & Capability Development\nCoordinate and deliver training for new and existing employees.\nEnsure all employees are trained and assessed against defined standards and standard work.\nSupport Line Leaders in developing team capability and maintaining skill levels.\nIdentify skill gaps and work with Area Supervisors to develop training plans.\nBuilt-In Quality & Standardised Work\nEnsure all training reinforces built-in quality and right-first-time principles.\nSupport the consistent application of standards from clear high-quality SOPs across lines and shifts.\nChallenge poor practices and reinforce correct ways of working.\nOnboarding & Induction\nDeliver structured inductions for all new starters (permanent and agency).\nEnsure new starters understand:Site standards\nQuality expectations\nSafe working practices\nShift routines and behaviours\n\nSupport early-stage performance through on-the-job coaching.\nTraining Delivery & On-the-Job Coaching\nSpend time on production lines coaching and observing employees.\nSupport Line Leaders in training and assessing team members.\nEnsure standards are being followed and understood.\nProvide immediate feedback and coaching where required.\nPerformance Support\nWork with Area Supervisors to support development of underperforming individuals and teams.\nAssist in identifying training-related root causes of issues such as:Rework\nPoor yield\nInconsistent performance\n\nSupport structured problem solving through improved capability.\nTraining Records & Compliance\nMaintain accurate and up-to-date training records.\nEnsure all training, signoffs, and competency assessments are:Documented\nAuditable\nCompleted to standard\n\nEnsure refresher training is planned and delivered on time.\nStandard Work & Documentation Support\nSupport the creation and updating of:SOPs\nWork instructions\nStandard work materials\n\nWork with the Process Engineer and Senior Operations Administrator to ensure:Documentation is accurate\nStandards are current\nTraining aligns with defined processes\n\nCollaboration & Support\nWork closely with:Area Supervisors (team capability & performance)\nLine Leaders (daily execution & coaching)\nHR (training plans and onboarding)\nLabour Planning Lead (skills and deployment alignment)\n\nSupport audits,
