As QA you will hold an essential support role to the food safety team, being responsible for various checks, verification activities and audits related to food safety, quality and integrity. You will assist in assuring compliance to site policies, procedures and customer COP’s.\nThis is a shop floor-based role so is suitable for someone who enjoys a hands-on position and requires building a strong working relationship with Production.\nThe hours of work are 14.00 to 23.15 Monday to Friday (42.5 hours per week).\nSpecific Tasks\nFood Hygiene training\nSome previous working knowledge of Food Safety & Hygiene, HACCP & BRC\nPrevious knowledge/experience of Non-Conformance management\nQA/Technical experience & experience of External audits (BRC)\nA good level of computer skills (Outlook, Excel, Word, Power Point), competent in report writing\nExcellent communication skills, ability to communicate precise information to help deal with food safety incidents\nExperience of working within a factory environment\nInternal audit skills, ability to complete an internal audit, communicate and close the actions\nComplaints / Non-Conformances investigation experience\nAttention to detail\nAbility to work under pressure and deliver to deadlines\nFlexibility and ability to multitask\nAlso, completing any reasonable additional tasks to support business needs as required.\nEducational Background\nFood Hygiene training\nSome previous working knowledge of Food Safety & Hygiene, HACCP & BRC\nPrevious knowledge/experience of Non-Conformance management\nAbout us\nDanish Crown UK is a business built on trust, teamwork and ambition.
