We are looking for an experienced SAP Technical Lead who can bring specialists together and turn complex business requirements into robust technical solutions, from architecture and development to go-live and operational handover.\nJoining Global IT, you will work across the SAP programme, business units and group functions. In close collaboration with architects, functional leads, technical specialists and external partners, you will connect business needs with technical delivery and ensure that our SAP solutions are scalable, secure and ready for long-term operation.\nYour role as SAP Technical Lead\nAs SAP Technical Lead, you will own the technical direction and quality of SAP solutions across the transformation programme. You will provide technical governance across development, integration, platform services, security and operations, keeping delivery aligned with business requirements, architecture and IT roadmaps. Your leadership will be technical and collaborative, guiding specialists and partners across teams and domains.\nYour key responsibilities will include:\nDefine and maintain technical principles, standards and solution designs, support architectural roadmaps and review integrations, extensions and non-functional requirements.\nLead and coordinate technical delivery across SAP Basis, development, SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP), integration, security and external partners, applying agile delivery principles.\nOwn technical analysis, estimates, peer reviews, documentation and quality assurance, while identifying and resolving technical risks, dependencies and decisions.\nSupport technical and performance testing, cutover and deployment, and ensure that monitoring, support models, documentation and operational handover are ready before go-live.\nLead complex troubleshooting and root-cause analysis across teams and suppliers to deliver secure, supportable solutions that comply with our standards.\nAdvise programme leadership, business stakeholders and senior management, facilitate technical workshops and mentor specialists through knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.\nWho are you?\nYou enjoy turning complex business and programme requirements into practical technical solutions. With a structured, pragmatic approach, you create clarity, make informed decisions and maintain progress when requirements are not yet fully defined.
