The squad works at the intersection of software delivery performance monitoring and engineering intelligence, delivering platforms and insights that drive measurable improvements in how software is built and delivered at Danske Bank.\nThe squad builds and maintains platforms and tools that streamline processes and give stakeholders clear, actionable engineering insights, including our Live Engineering platform and the emerging area of AI code assistant measurement.\nIf you want to turn raw engineering signals into meaningful performance insights and want to build the foundations for measuring how AI coding tools are actually being used, what impact they have, and what they cost, this role is for you.\nJoining us means taking ownership of developer productivity intelligence: building the platforms that turn engineering signals into measurable insight.\nThe workplace is located in Vilnius. Danske Bank supports workplace flexibility (we currently use a hybrid work model, where we work at least 3 days in the office).\nWhat You Will Be Doing\nBuild and evolve the Live Engineering platform: the pipelines, APIs, and interfaces that collect, process, and surface software engineering performance data and DORA metrics across the organisation \nBuild the measurement framework for AI code assistants and agents, tracking utilisation, quantifying impact, and monitoring costs across AI-assisted development tools \nDevelop observability solutions that provide real-time visibility into software delivery performance and engineering trends \nIdentify where automation can eliminate toil and shift focus toward high-impact engineering\nEngage with the developer community across tribes to uncover friction points and translate them into platform improvements \nReview code and contribute to engineering decisions within the squad, ensuring solutions are maintainable, well-designed, and built to last \nCommunicate effectively with engineers and stakeholders about technical implementation, platform capabilities, and roadmap\nAbout You\n5+ years experience as a Platform Engineer, DevOps Engineer, or Software Engineer with a strong focus on engineering metrics, automation, and delivery performance\n\nStrong software engineering fundamentals - you write clean, well-designed code, understand design patterns, and can review code with intent, not just correctness\n\nExperience with Python, Java, or C# or production-quality tools and APIs\n\nExperience with CI/CD pipelines and GitOps practices (GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps or similar)\n\nExperience with container platforms (Kubernetes, OpenShift), cloud environments (AWS preferred), and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)\n\nTrack record of building automation at scale for recurring engineering challenges\n\nExperience working with engineering metrics and data pipelines\n\nSelf-directed problem solver comfortable with evolving requirements\n\nExcellent communication and stakeholder management skills in English\n\nExperience with agentic AI development would be valuable additions to your toolkit.\nWhat We Offer You\nMonthly salary range from 4960 EUR to 7440 EUR gross (based on your competencies relevant for the job).\nAdditionally, each Danske Bank employee receives employee benefits package which includes:\n Growth opportunities: professional & supportive team, e-learnings, numerous development programs; (incl. professional certificates); 100+ professions for internal mobility opportunities.\nHealth & Well-being: a diverse, inclusive, work & life balance work environment; additional health insurance; mental well-being practices; partial psychologist counselling compensation; silence and sleep zones at the office; game rooms.\n Hybrid working conditions: Work from home up to two days a week; home office budget (after the probation period); modern Danske Campus workplace developed with anthropologist for the best employee experience.\nAdditional days of leave: for rest, health, volunteering, exams in higher education institutions, and other important activities.
