About the Project

We are looking for Senior Android Developer to join a project from logistics industry. The team is working on developing a large-scale mobile platform used by millions of users. In this role, you will contribute to the development and modernization of Android applications, focusing on performance, scalability, developer experience, and high-quality software delivery.

You will work in an agile environment, collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance existing solutions, introduce new capabilities, and help drive the adoption of modern engineering practices, including AI-assisted development workflows.

Start of the project: ASAP

Duration of the project: 6 months (with possibility of extension)

​Job Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality Android applications with a strong focus on performance, reliability, and scalability.

• Refactor and modernize existing codebases to improve maintainability, architecture, and long-term sustainability.

• Build, enhance, and support mobile CI/CD pipelines, ensuring efficient build, testing, and deployment processes.

• Drive automation initiatives and contribute to improving the overall mobile developer experience.

• Develop well-tested, production-ready code following engineering best practices and quality standards.

• Collaborate with engineers, architects, and product stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

• Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and technical decision-making.

• Create and maintain technical documentation, implementation guides, and operational procedures.

• Support continuous improvement initiatives and promote engineering excellence across the team.

Expectations

• 5+ years of professional experience in Android development.

• Strong commercial experience with Kotlin and the Android SDK.

• Hands-on expertise with Jetpack Compose, Coroutines, and Flow.

• Solid understanding of Android Architecture Components, MVVM, and Clean Architecture principles.

• Proven experience integrating REST APIs and external services into mobile applications.

• Strong knowledge of Firebase configuration and implementation.

• Extensive experience designing and maintaining CI/CD solutions for mobile development using GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or similar platforms.

• Experience optimizing Android applications, build performance, and release processes.

• Familiarity with modern software development practices, including Git, Jira, Confluence, code reviews, and Agile methodologies.

• Professional English skills (minimum B2)
