Dark Wolf’s Google Cloud Delivery Technical Director is responsible for setting and executing the technical vision, architecture, and direction of complex cloud implementations for our Department of War and National Security customers. This individual will lead a team of highly skilled Cloud Engineers and will be the technical escalation point for our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services and technologies, as well as experience in designing and implementing scalable, reliable, and secure cloud solutions for customers in the U.S. Public Sector.\nResponsibilities:\nDrive and implement technology solutions on Google Cloud for the U.S. Public Sector\nWork with customers, partners, and internal project team members to understand customer business requirements and translate into actionable engineering tasks\nLead the development and execution of technical strategies to support complex customer deployments\nConfigure and manage GCP services such as Compute Engine, App Engine, Google Kubernetes Engine, Cloud Storage, BigQuery, and Cloud SQL\nDevelop and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) solutions using tools such as Terraform\nArchitect and implement security best practices for Google Cloud solutions using products such as Assured Workloads, Cloud Logging, Cloud Monitoring, and Security Command Center\nStay up-to-date on the latest GCP services and technologies and their applicability to the Public Sector space\nPartner with the Managing Director of Google Cloud Delivery to ensure alignment on technical direction and project delivery\nMentor junior and senior engineers on development and delivery best practices\nQualifications:\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field\n15+ years of experience in cloud computing and/or software development \n5+ years of experience delivering cloud solutions for Government customers\nStrong understanding of Google Cloud services and technologies\nProven experience leading and managing technical teams\nStrong understanding of Google Cloud services and technologies, including advanced knowledge of specific GCP services and products such as Kubernetes Engine, Cloud Storage, BigQuery, Dataflow, and Cloud SQL\nExperience designing and implementing scalable, reliable, and secure cloud solutions for customers in the U.S. Public Sector\nExperience developing technical architecture documents, driving design decisions, developing documentation artifacts, and presenting technical solutions to clients and executive level leaders\nExperience with infrastructure automation using IaC tools such as Terraform\nStrong understanding of DevOps practices and experience implementing CI/CD in both cloud and on-prem environments\nExcellent leadership, communication, and teamwork skills\nAbility to travel to support high priority customer engagements (discovery, kickoff, demonstrations)\nAbility to work collaboratively with the broader team as well as independently\nUS Citizenship, Top Secret Clearance with CI Poly\nPreferred Qualifications:\nGoogle Cloud Professional Certification\nGraduate degree in Computer Science or related fields\nExperience working within and managing Agile software development teams\nExperience working with Google Cloud compliance products such as Security Command Center and Assured Workloads\nExperience with DevSecOps principles and practices\nExperience with cloud security best practices and standards\nExperience with DoD/DISA cybersecurity policies\nThis position is based out of Herndon, VA or another Dark Wolf primary location.
