This dynamic and rewarding position requires a mix of technical expertise, cybersecurity passion, and sales acumen.\nKey Duties & Responsibilities\nServe as the technical lead between clients, partners, and our internal teams at Darktrace.\nQualify, prioritize, and drive new business opportunities in coordination with an account team.\nCollaborate with our Sales team to identify client needs, implement effective sales strategies, and communicate deployment proposals.\nEstablish yourself as a trusted advisor and technical authority to clients, from technical staff to C-suite executives.\nConduct Proof of Value demonstrations of Darktrace technology to support opportunities where appropriate.\nPlan and design client-specific deployment strategies and architectures in varying coverage areas.\nPresent as a technical leader in client engagements and support marketing events, executive dinners, conferences and roadshows as required.\nQualifications & Experience\n3+ years of experience in security or network security\n3+ pre-sales sales engineering team for a software organization\n3+ years of experience in a sales engineering or solutions engineering role\nStrong knowledge of both on-premises and cloud networking\nExperience within the cyber security industry preferred\nConfident, polished communicator with a proven ability to build lasting, critical business relationships\nProven experience in a technical pre-sales or solutions engineering role, ideally within the cybersecurity domain.\nExcellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.\nStrong problem-solving skills and a client-oriented mindset.\nBachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.\n\nAs a growing business strengthening its governance and controls, this role plays a part in supporting high standards of integrity and accountability.\n\nDarktrace is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
