This role can be supported at a hybrid capacity in Herndon, VA. \nKey Responsibilities:\nDeploying and maintaining common Kubernetes platform services on cloud-native architecture\nIntegrating a Kubernetes platform with common enterprise services to satisfy organizational security requirements \nImplementing secure automation, effective monitoring, and Infrastructure as Code\nDeploying and maintaining Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines across multiple environments\nSupporting and working alongside a cross-functional engineering team on the latest technologies\nDeveloping and iterating best practices to increase the quality and velocity of deployments\nImplementing industry best practices for system hardening and configuration management\nSenior Level Required Qualifications: \n8+ years of experience working with commercial cloud service providers such as AWS, GCP, or Azure with at least 2 years of specific experience working in cARMY, Cloud One, or Platform One at IL6\nExperience architecting and maintaining common Kubernetes or Docker platform services on cloud-native architecture, ensuring high availability and scalability for mission-critical applications\nExperience integrating and providing cloud platform services within a Kubernetes cluster\nExperience designing and implementing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using Terraform to enforce DISA STIG compliance and baseline configuration management across all environments\nExperience with DevSecOps tools and processes such as GitLab CI, Artifactory, ArgoCD, FluxCD, Helm, Kustomize\nExperience deploying and maintaining Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines across multiple environments\nDemonstrated knowledge in Agile, Scrum, DevSecOps processes, and DoD cybersecurity requirements\nSolid problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and critical thinking abilities\nB.A. or B.S. in Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or related discipline (or relevant experience in lieu of a degree)\n DoD Approved 8570 Baseline Certifications (e.g. CompTia Security+ CE Certification)\nUS Citizenship and an active DoD Secret security clearance or higher\nDesired Qualifications:\nExperience with Oracle and PostgreSQL DBMS\nExperience deploying and maintaining Platform One’s Big Bang suite of tools\nExperience working with the DHA\nExperience with DoD FedRAMP authorized cloud platforms such as AWS GovCloud and/or Cloud One\nExperience standing up and maintaining AWS services including RDS, EMR, ECR, EKS and S3\nExperience deploying Kubernetes using Rancher RKE2\nKnowledge of the Risk Management Framework (RMF) accreditation process and security requirements\nExperience using DISA enterprise security products including HBSS and ACAS and performing security hardening to satisfy STIG requirements\nExperience installing and configuring a service mesh for cluster ingress/egress, mTLS, and authorization and authentication of services\nExperience providing Identity Management services within a cloud or Kubernetes environment such Open ID Connect (OIDC) or SAML SSO\nThis position requires hybrid support in Herndon, VA.\nThe compensation for the senior level role is estimated to be approximately $155,000.00 -$185,000.00 commensurate on experience. \nWe are strictly looking for direct, full-time W2 employees.
