In addition, may be in direct charge of one or more areas of plant operations.\nEssential Duties/Responsibilities\nNothing in this job description restricts management's right to assign or reassign duties and responsibilities to this job at any time.\nAssist in overall operation of the plant; assumes responsibility for major area of operation when necessary due to absence of General Manager, Plant Manager, or Fleet Manager.\n\nAssists in the development of the annual budget.\n\nAssists in the recruitment, selection, and orientation of new employee's development and discipline of established employees.\n\nMonitors and directs plant operations and lab analysis for quality control; takes necessary action to ensure quality standards are met.\n\nMaintains professional liaison with customers; resolves customer issues or concerns.\n\nMonitors route efficiency making adjustments when necessary.\n\nLooks for opportunities to increase productivity efficiently and economically.\n\nProcess all corporate invoices and ensures payments have been authorized by the appropriate corporate office personnel.\n\nUnder the direction of the General Manager, may be responsible for obtaining certifications necessary to the operation and implementation of such projects as Bio-security, HACCP, and is primary contact for the Company's Safety Program.\n\nAll other duties as assigned.\n\nMinimum Qualifications\nHigh School diploma or equivalent required.\n\nMinimum 5+ years of experience in a midlevel management position in an industrial or manufacturing plant setting.\n\nRendering industry experience a definite plus.\n\nPreferred Qualifications\nBachelor's degree in related area preferred.\n\nExcellent communication skills both oral and written\n\nExcellent problem solving and organizational skills.\n\nGood mechanical and administration skills.\n\nAbility to lead;
