Toronto\nEvening shifts along with weekend work will be required depending on weekly route scheduling.\nAccurate completion and submission of all required paperwork.\nConduct all interactions with customers and suppliers in a respectful, professional, and service oriented manner.\nRequired to formally report any concerns or customer service-related issues.\nResponsible for following all Company and Health and Safety rules and for communicating all reportable incidents.\nResponsible to ensure that both tractors and trailers are maintained in a clean and presentable condition.\nResponsible for ensuring safe driving operations at all times.\nResponsible for effectively and efficiently dealing with ad-hoc issues that may arise.\nDrivers will be scheduled for AZ and DZ routes.\nThis is only a summary of the primary responsibilities and may be amended as necessary based on the needs of the business.\nEDUCATION AND/OR WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:\nValid AZ License\nClean driving record\nCustomer service oriented\nFamiliarity driving within the Province of Ontario\nWorking knowledge and adherence to HTA and MTO applicable legislation\nFlexible and willing to work overtime as required\nTeam oriented and willing to assist with all routes\nTasks will include some physical demands such as repetitive pulling, pushing, lifting etc. \nAbility to complete physical requirements is required\nPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:\nAbility to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the AODA, ESA, OHSA and other federal, and provincial standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards\nAbility to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the AODA, ESA, OHSA and other federal, and provincial standards\nAbility to keep up with physically demanding tasks such as repetitive bending, pulling, pushing, lifting etc.\nSitting for long stretches at a time (up to 3 hours)\nMust be able to alternate between walking, standing and moving for periods of time.\nMust be able to occasionally lift/carry up to 50 lbs\nMust be able to climb onto truck trailers, climb truck ladders as required
