In addition, the position is responsible for assisting corporate and regional marketing staff with inventory and shipping related transactions. Inventory related support for other locations as needed is also considered to be part of this position.\nEssential Duties/Responsibilities\nNothing in this job description restricts management’s right to assign or reassign duties and responsibilities to this job at any time.\nRecord daily inventory production.\n\nBlend inventory and ship transactions based upon the detail provided by the plant personnel.\n\nMonitor and review shipment/invoicing status.\n\nTrain plant personnel to provide necessary documentation to support production, changes in inventory and shipping transactions and to reconcile balances.\n\nCommunicate and resolve issues with the plant personnel when data does not adequately support the transactions.\n\nPrepare analysis as requested to support plant, regional and corporate management.\n\nImplement and enforce policies and effective internal controls.\n\nSupport internal and external audit requests.\n\nPerform a variety of complicated special projects. May lead and direct the work of others.\n\nOther duties as assigned\n\nMinimum Qualifications\nHigh School Diploma or GED equivalent is required.\n\nTwo to five years of accounting experience in Accounts Payable or Inventory Accounting needed.\n\nPreferred Qualifications\nBachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance is preferred. \nSolid understanding of general accounting and perpetual inventory concepts & principals. \nExcellent oral and written communication skills. \nExcellent math skills, including statistical analysis. \nHighly organized;
