The operator is required to perform central control room work primarily performs plant floor work as required to maintain good equipment operation.\nSHIFT SCHEDULE:\nMonday to Friday - Days\nTuesday to Saturday - Days\nMonday to Friday - Afternoons\nMonday to Friday - Nights\nOVERTIME DURING THE WEEK AND WEEKENDS WILL BE REQUIRED AS NECESSARY\nKEY RESPONSIBILITIES:\nResponsible for the safe, efficient, and environmentally sound operation of the rendering/Equacooker system.\nFollow established operating practices and standard operating procedures\nResponsible for continuously monitoring and making appropriate corrective adjustments as required to maintain the processes under control e.g. production rates, flow rates, levels, temperatures and steam heating, pressures, residence time, etc.\nResponsible for maximizing process throughput and operating the equipment as intended without causing material plugs and spills, damage to equipment, causing a risk to health and safety, or negatively impacting the environment\nResponsible for reporting and recording all shift activities, events, reportable incidents, production information, maintenance issues, and other data as required (e.g. Shift Report/Log, production/process statistics, inventory sheets, maintenance work requests, HACCP records)\nResponsible for communicating all relevant operational information at shift change directly or otherwise through logs and reports etc.\nProvide shift coverage backup for holidays, vacation, sick days, or other absences\nMaintain good housekeeping in work area\nOther duties as assigned\nEXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:\n1 years' experience with heavy equipment in a continuous manufacturing process environment.\nCapable of understanding basic physical principles related to flow, steam pressure, temperature and heating, and linear and rotational mechanical forces.\nMust be available and flexible to work shifts as required\nExcellent organizational and communication skills\nDemonstrated technical aptitude\nMotivated and well organized\nAbility to work independently as well as part of a team\nStrong commitment to the company values\n\nWE OFFER:\n$30.12 per hour
