You’ll help modernise and harden the systems that deliver the platform to customers, build internal tooling that speeds up how engineers ship code (including tooling that brings AI agents into the development and operations workflow), and support a WordPress-based site at scale.\nKey skills and Experience required\n8+ years deploying and supporting high-traffic, scalable web applications and services\n5+ years working in an AWS serverless environment (Cognito, Lambda, Step Functions, DynamoDB)\nStrong TypeScript skills and hands-on experience with the AWS CDK\nProficient scripting ability (Linux/Unix shell, Python, Ruby, or similar)\nHands-on experience with configuration management and deployment tooling\nStrong CI/CD expertise across native AWS services and third-party tools, including building pipelines and Git competency\nSolid understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC)\nExperience defining multi-account AWS strategies using Amazon Organizations\nExperience integrating SCM, code quality, code coverage, and testing tools into CI/CD pipelines\nExposure to application and infrastructure monitoring tooling\nComfortable forecasting AWS billing using the pricing calculator\nPractical experience working with AI coding agents and agentic engineering workflows as part of a modern delivery pipeline\nFamiliarity with Spec Driven Development for implementation, testing, and AI agent behaviour\nHands-on experience with AWS services including Serverless, CDK, CloudFormation, CodePipeline, GitHub/GitHub Actions, Lambda/Step Functions, SQS, SNS, Kinesis, DynamoDB, EventBridge, X-Ray, CloudWatch, WAF, and Lake Formation\nExperience with MySQL and Elasticsearch\nAWS Certified DevOps Engineer or AWS Certified Solutions
