This is the opposite.\nYou will join a GNC team of two at a launch company that has already flown. Guidance, navigation and control across the whole rocket. Hot fires happen regularly and launch cadence is ramping up. They are entering qualification, so expect a lot of iterative PID tuning against noisy real test data.\nYou will:\nDevelop GNC algorithms, simulation models and trajectories\nTune controllers and guidance algorithms\nVerify performance from ground test and flight data\nBuild test automation across Simulink, hardware in the loop, engine test cells and integrated vehicles\nSupport launch from mission control\nYou will need:\n3 to 5 years in aerospace vehicle GNC development and simulation\nMATLAB and Simulink, plus C++ or Python\nControllers built for rockets, drones or robots\nControl theory grounding, including system identification\nAdvanced degree in engineering, physics, mathematics or equivalent\nSmall team, so this sits close to a lead role without the title.
