UKG or HR technology experience is beneficial, but the ability to successfully manage different types of projects and applications is more important.\nWhat you’ll be doing\nTaking ownership of projects from initiation through to successful delivery.\nBuilding project plans, timelines, milestones and delivery strategies.\nManaging multiple projects and applications across different areas of the business.\nWorking with stakeholders to understand requirements, identify priorities and keep projects moving.\nProactively identifying risks, dependencies and potential roadblocks before they become issues.\nCreating solutions and delivery plans rather than simply following predefined implementation methodologies.\nCoordinating internal teams, technical resources, vendors and business stakeholders.\nManaging project scope, timelines, budgets and expectations.\nProviding clear communication and project updates to stakeholders.\nAdapting your approach depending on the project, application and business requirements.\nUsing your judgement to determine the best way to structure and deliver a project.\nWhat we’re looking for\nProven experience as a Project Manager, ideally at a mid-level.\nExperience managing a variety of project types, rather than specialising in one specific implementation.\nStrong organisational and planning skills, with the ability to create structure from ambiguity.\nA highly self-sufficient and proactive approach - you see what needs to be done and get on with it.\nStrong business acumen and the ability to understand the wider impact of project decisions.\nExcellent stakeholder management and communication skills.\nThe confidence to make decisions, solve problems and adapt when projects don’t go exactly to plan.\nSomeone who is comfortable working independently without needing a detailed implementation guide for every step.\nThe ability to manage competing priorities and keep projects moving forward.\nDesirable experience\nPMIP certification - a significant advantage and a strong indication that you understand core project management principles.\nUKG / UKG Pro / UKG Ready / UKG WFM experience.\nHRIS, HCM or other enterprise business application experience.\nExperience working across technology, systems or business transformation projects.\nExperience managing projects involving multiple applications, teams or third-party vendors.\nThe person\nWe’re looking for someone who thinks like a Project Manager, rather than simply follows a project plan.\nYou’ll be someone who can walk into a project, understand what needs to happen, build a sensible plan and proactively drive it forward.\nYou don’t need to have led large teams or managed complex programmes. Leadership isn’t the focus of this role.
