All our programs are based in Winnipeg. Our residential program consists of over 50 homes, our day services program consists of two day programs and our educational program called DASCHWorks supports people in finding and maintaining meaningful employment. Learn more about our services at dasch.mb.ca.\nPosition Summary:\nThe DASCHWorks Program Manager provides strategic and operational leadership for DASCH’s employment and career development program for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. This role leads high-quality, person-centered services that support participants to explore their strengths, build employment readiness, pursue meaningful work, and participate actively in the community. The Program Manager is accountable for program delivery, staff supervision, employer and community partnerships, participant outcomes, reporting, quality improvement, and responsible use of approved workplace technology.\nRole & Responsibilities:\nProgram leadership: Oversee curriculum implementation, Learning Labs, participant admissions, transitions, progress monitoring, and completion planning.\nStaff leadership: Recruit, supervise, coach, schedule, and evaluate staff in partnership with Human Resources; lead team meetings and support professional development.\nParticipant services: Ensure participants receive individualized supports through Individual Success Plans, Career Growth Plans, and Employment Action Plans that promote choice, self-determination, employment readiness, and job retention.\nEmployer and community partnerships: In conjunction with the Job Developer, build and maintain relationships with employers, educational institutions, government programs, community agencies, and business networks to expand employment, volunteer, work experience, and career exploration opportunities.\nQuality and reporting: Use participant, employer, family, and staff feedback to evaluate program effectiveness, improve services, track outcomes, and meet reporting requirements.\nFinancial and administrative oversight: Assist with budget development, monitor expenditures, maintain accurate documentation, and support compliance with DASCH policies, privacy requirements, and funding agreements.\nInnovation and future of work: Monitor labour market trends, inclusive employment practices, emerging workplace technologies, and Artificial Intelligence to recommend practical program improvements and prepare participants for changing work environments.\nRisk management: Promote participant health, safety, dignity, confidentiality, ethical decision-making, and safe use of approved technology.\nQualifications and Experience:\nPost-secondary education in human services, disability studies, vocational rehabilitation, education, business, social work, human resources, nonprofit management, or a related discipline.\nMinimum five years of progressive experience in employment services, disability services, workforce development, education, social services, or community-based programming.\nDemonstrated experience supervising multidisciplinary teams and managing program priorities, outcomes, reporting, and budgets.\nExperience supporting adults with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities in employment readiness, workplace skills development, community inclusion, and long-term job retention.\nExperience with customized employment, supported employment, job coaching, case management, vocational rehabilitation, program development, or inclusive employment is considered an asset.\nEquivalent combinations of education and directly related experience will be considered.\nKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities\nStrong understanding of supported employment, customized employment, job carving, person-centred planning, adult learning, workplace accommodations, and inclusive employment practices.\nKnowledge of barriers faced by adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities, including transportation, communication, benefits navigation, workplace stigma, and skills development.\nAbility to develop employer relationships across sectors and align employer needs with participant strengths and reasonable workplace supports.\nStrong leadership, coaching, change management, project management, problem-solving, conflict resolution, public speaking, written communication, and data analysis skills.\nAbility to balance participant-centred service delivery with measurable outcomes, sound financial stewardship, operational accountability, and continuous improvement.\nCore Leadership Competencies\nStrategic and operational leadership: Sets clear priorities, manages resources responsibly, and positions DASCHWorks for sustainable success.\nPerson-centred leadership: Places participant dignity, strengths, choices, and aspirations at the centre of decisions.\nCoaching and talent development: Builds staff confidence, competence, accountability, and teamwork.\nInnovation and quality improvement: Uses evidence, feedback, labour market information, and emerging practices to improve participant outcomes.\nPartnership development: Works in conjunction with the Job Developer to build trusted relationships with employers, educators, families, funders, and community partners.\nEthical leadership: Demonstrates integrity, confidentiality, accountability, transparency, and respect.\nWork Hours:\nFull Time\nMonday to Friday\nMust be able to flex work hours based on position needs\nSalary Range: $58,760 to $69,160 annually\nEmployer-Paid Benefits:\nExtended health care\nDental care\nVision care\nLife coverage\nMaternity and parental leave top-ups\nEmployee and Family Assistance Program\n\nAdditional Benefits:\n4 weeks’ vacation available to use as accrued.\n6 personal days\nOptional RRSP and TFSA plans\nRegistered Pension Plan with 5% employer-matched contributions after one year\nLong-term disability coverage\nPaid mileage\nExtensive employer-paid training\nCareer growth opportunities\nThank you for your interest in DASCH;
