This is a place where people can flourish and grow their careers.\n\nPosition Summary\nUnder the direction of the Chief Operating Officer, the Program Manager is responsible for the overall leadership, performance, and compliance of assigned locations. The Program Manager is accountable for program quality, staff supervision, operational oversight, financial performance, and regulatory compliance across their portfolio.\nThis position acts as the primary decision-maker and escalation point for staffing, program, and compliance matters while maintaining strong relationships with families, government, and professional services.\nWork Hours:\nFull Time\nMust be able to flex work hours based on position needs\nParticipation in an on-call rotation\nStarting Salary: $58,760.00 per year\nEmployer-Paid Benefits:\nExtended health care\nDental care\nVision care\nLife coverage\nMaternity and parental leave top-ups\nEmployee and Family Assistance Program\nAdditional Benefits:\n4 weeks’ vacation available as accrued\n6 wellness days\nOptional RRSP and TFSA plans\nRegistered Pension Plan with employer-matching contributions after one year\nLong-term disability coverage\nPaid mileage\nEmployer-paid training and development opportunities\nRole & Responsibilities\nEnsure consistent, high-quality program delivery across all assigned locations\nProvide leadership, supervision, and performance management to staff\nConduct regular reviews, audits, and evaluations of program quality and documentation\nMaintain oversight of individual care to ensure alignment with plans and best practices\nEnsure compliance with DASCH policies, licensing standards, and employment regulations\nReview and approve incident reports and ensure appropriate follow-up and resolution\nIdentify risks, trends, and compliance issues and implement corrective actions\nMaintain accountability for budgets, financial reporting, and resource allocation\nServe as the primary contact for families, case workers, and external service providers\nLead and attend meetings (IPP/PATH, medical, licensing, etc.)\nProvide direction and support to Senior Direct Support Professionals\nEnsure clear expectations for operations, documentation, and quality of care\nParticipate in an on-call rotation and act as the escalation point for operational issues\nSkills & Qualifications\nUniversity degree in a related discipline and/or Certificate in Community and Disability Support with significant leadership experience\nMinimum five (5) years of leadership and/or management experience\nStrong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills\nSound knowledge of intellectual disabilities and service delivery\nAbility to lead, coach, and manage staff performance effectively\nValid Manitoba Class 5 Driver’s License with access to a vehicle\nAt DASCH we promote an inclusive, and diverse workplace.
