We're looking for an IPC Fluid Consultant Intern to join our WW Fluid team in Warwick, UK. Starting in February 2027, this 12-month internship is your chance to dive into the world of Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) and work with cutting-edge solutions, gaining hands-on experience in transient flow modeling while tackling real engineering challenges alongside our experts. You will be part of an international group of engineers forming the “SIMULIA Industry Process Consultants - Fluids” team, connecting customer needs to our solutions through technical pre-sales engagements, consultancy projects, and the implementation of new processes, workflows, and methodologies - embracing the MODSIM approach and leveraging AI to expand the capabilities of the SIMULIA Fluids portfolio. In your daily work, you will experience the complete simulation process, from model build to simulation setup, execution, and results analysis.\nThe internship starts at the end of February 2027 and runs for 12 months.\nRole description & Responsibilities\nConduct demonstrations using the SIMULIA Fluids toolset.\n\nSupport the development and validation of methodologies and simulation approaches.\n\nAssist in the development of new CFD methodologies and workflows to improve accuracy, efficiency, and application scope.\n\nAnalyze simulation results, interpret data, and provide actionable insights to support engineering decisions.\n\nCreate impactful and realistic visualizations to communicate results.\n\nParticipate in project meetings to define requirements and deliverables.\n\nSupport the implementation of more streamlined and automated simulation processes.\n\nWork in close contact with team members, R&D, and other DS experts to define solution scenarios.\n\nQualifications\nCurrently studying for or holding a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field, with a strong emphasis on fluid mechanics and CFD.\n\nDeep interest in and solid understanding of fluid dynamics fundamentals; solid knowledge of aeroacoustics and thermodynamics is an advantage.\n\nPractical course/laboratory experience with CFD/CAE tools.\n\nProficiency in script programming (Python) and experience with complex graphics tools.\n\nStrong analytical skills, capable of interpreting and visualizing complex data.\n\nStrong motivation for continuous learning and professional development.\n\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills in English, including presentation skills.\n\nWhat's in it for you\nA unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a global tech company\n\nExposure to real-world projects and collaboration with experienced professionals in an international, multicultural team\n\nA supportive environment that encourages learning, innovation, and personal growth\n\nFlexible working hours with a hybrid working model, and a good work-life balance\n\nInclusion statement\nAs a game-changer in sustainable technology and innovation, Dassault Systèmes is striving to build more inclusive and diverse teams across the globe.
