Our philosophy here is that if you have a strong foundation in application engineering and a team-first mindset, we will invest in training you on our platform technologies.\nReporting to an Engineering Manager, you will join our Medidata Study Experience team focusing on our CTMS solution:\nhttps://www.medidata.com/en/study-experience/ctms/\nWe follow a hybrid working model (3 days in office) and base location is Hammersmith, London.\nWhat you will do:\nPropose solutions to complex business problems and translate them to technology.\nProvide accurate impact analysis, technical assessment and documentation.\nDefine and advocate industry standard engineering practices for the team.\nWork closely with the Engineering management and Architecture groups in leading product delivery.\nCollaborate in troubleshooting the production issues and provide possible workarounds and solutions promptly.\nMentor colleagues at Senior & App Engineer level; engage in code review to improve code quality and promote TDD/BDD approach.\nCollaborate with diverse and globally distributed team.\nWho you are:\nExperience with a data warehouse like Snowflake, Redshift, or Spark.\nPassionate about software product development.\nExperience programming in React/TypeScript.\nExperience working in a microservice ecosystem and developing cloud-based web applications.\nExperience working with cloud technologies like AWS.\nExperience in DevOps technologies like Github actions, terraform or similar.\nKnowledge of basic security concepts, such as authentication, authorization, and auditing.\nTypically requires 5 years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree; or 3 years and a Master's degree or equivalent work experience.\nPrior experience from on commercial B2B / Enterprise SaaS offerings.\nBase pay is one part of the Total Rewards that Medidata provides to compensate and recognise employees for their work.
