Operations Engineer in Pune, India!\nRole Description & Responsibilities:\nIn this role, you will be responsible for:\nTechnical Support:\nInstall, configure, image, and deploy Windows 11 laptops/desktops using standard enterprise build processes.\nPerform troubleshooting related to OS performance, boot issues, BSODs, driver conflicts, Windows updates, and application compatibility.\nConfigure and support local and domain user profiles, BitLocker, Secure Boot, and TPM-related settings.\nProvide basic macOS administration including device setup, OS updates, application deployment, and troubleshooting of common macOS issues.\nSupport Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.\nAssist in deploying security baselines and endpoint configuration policies.\nTroubleshoot basic LAN, Wi-Fi, VPN, DNS, DHCP, and proxy-related connectivity issues.\nDiagnose and replace faulty laptop/desktop components including RAM, SSD/HDD, batteries, adapters, docking stations, and peripheral devices.\nConfigure and troubleshoot printers, scanners, webcams, headsets, conference room equipment, and USB devices.\nDeploy VM, VDI machines as per business requirements\nProvide technical support to executives\nIT Asset Management:\nManage the complete lifecycle of IT assets, including procurement, receiving, tagging, allocation, transfer, repair, return, retirement, and disposal.\nMaintain an accurate inventory of all IT assets, including laptops, desktops, monitors, mobile devices, peripherals, and software licenses.\nEnsure all asset information is accurately updated in the IT Asset Management (ITAM) system.\nPerform periodic physical asset verification and reconcile inventory discrepancies.\nMonitor software license usage and ensure compliance with licensing agreements.\nGenerate periodic reports on asset inventory, utilization, lifecycle status, and compliance.\nCoordinate with procurement, finance, vendors, and internal IT teams for asset-related activities.\nSupport internal and external IT asset audits by maintaining complete documentation and records.\nTrack warranty status, ensure timely renewal of IT asset warranty contracts, software maintenance renewals\nMaintain adequate stock levels of standard IT hardware and accessories.\nCoordinate hardware repairs and warranty replacements with OEM vendors.\nSupport employee onboarding, transfers, and offboarding activities by ensuring timely allocation and recovery of IT assets.\nMaintain proper documentation of asset movements and operational activities.\nEnsure secure storage, handling, and disposal of IT equipment in accordance with organizational security policies.\nQualifications:\nExperience: Looking for 6-8 Years in IT Service Operations Engineer\nEducation: B.E/B.Tech or Graduate/Post graduate in related field\nTechnical Skills\nGood working knowledge of Microsoft Windows 11\nBasic working knowledge of macOS, iOS and Android devices\nGood understanding of desktop and laptop hardware components, peripherals, and accessories.\nUnderstanding of software licensing concepts and compliance.\nExperience in inventory management, asset documentation, and reporting\nSoft Skills:\nGood verbal and written communication skills.\nStrong customer service orientation and interpersonal skills.\nGood analytical and problem-solving abilities.\nStrong organizational and time management skills.\nAbility to prioritize multiple tasks effectively.\nAbility to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.\nWillingness to learn new technologies and continuously improve.\nPreferred Experience:\nExperience supporting enterprise IT environments.\nHands-on experience with ITAM platforms\nExperience coordinating with hardware vendors, OEMs, and service providers.\nKnowledge of software licensing and compliance practices.\nExperience supporting both Windows and macOS
