The preferred location for this role is on the East Coast.\nIn this role, you will be a critical partner for our sales team. Providing pre-sales technical expertise and demonstrating the value of our ERP software to manufacturing companies. You will leverage your deep understanding of manufacturing processes and ERP systems to craft compelling demonstrations, address technical inquiries, and ultimately drive successful sales.\nPartner with sales representatives to understand prospect requirements and develop tailored solutions\n\nConduct-in-depth product demonstrations and presentations showcasing the capabilities of our ERP software to address specific manufacturing challenges.\n\nRespond to technical inquiries from prospects and customers, providing clear and concise explanations.\n\nDevelop and deliver proof-of-concept (POC) demonstrations to validate proposed solutions.\n\nLeverage your understanding of manufacturing processes (e.g. production planning, inventory management, shop floor control, quality (control) to effectively communicate the benefits of our ERP system.\n\nTranslate customer needs into technical requirements for the development and implementation process.\n\nCreate and maintain technical documentation, including presentations, white papers and competitive analyses.\n\nProvide training and support to the sales team on product features and technical aspects of the ERP system.\n\nContribute to the development of sales tools and resources.\n\nWork closely with the product management, development and implementation teams to ensure seamless customer experiences.\n\nProvide feedback from the field to influence product development and enhance customer feedback.\n\nWork with project managers to create accurate scopes of work for implementation.\n\nQualifications\nBachelors’ degree in engineering (Mechanical/Industrial/Electrical) with 3 - 5 years of experience in pre-sales or technical sales role ideally within the ERP software industry (MES/MOM/WMS/QMS)\n\nProven experience working with manufacturing companies and a strong understanding of manufacturing processes\n\nExperience with ERP systems, preferably those designed for manufacturing.\n\nDemonstrated ability to deliver compelling presentations and demonstrations.\n\nSkills: Strong technical aptitude and problem-solving skills\n\nExcellent communications and interpersonal skills\n\nAbility to effectively translate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.\n\nStrong presentation and demonstration skills\n\nProficiency in using CRM and other sales enablement tools\n\nAbility to travel as required\n\nExcellent Time Management Skills\n\nStrong Communication Skills, both written and verbal\n\nAbility to work independently and as a team player\n\n#LI-Hybrid\nInclusion statement\nIn order to provide equal employment and advancement opportunities to all individuals, employment decisions at 3DS are based on merit, qualifications and abilities. 3DS is committed to a policy of non-discrimination and equal opportunity for all employees and qualified applicants without regard to race, color, religion, gender, sex (including pregnancy, childbirth or medical or common conditions related to pregnancy or childbirth), sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, marital status, familial status, national origin, ancestry, age (40 and above), disability, veteran status, military service, application for military service, genetic information, receipt of free medical care, or any other characteristic protected under applicable law. 3DS will make reasonable accommodations for qualified individuals with known disabilities, in accordance with applicable law.\nQualified applicants with arrest or conviction records will be considered for employment in accordance with applicable state laws and local ordinances.
