Standardization, flexibility, control and quality are some of the reasons why more than 4,700 customers worldwide have DI in their lab. We are currently looking for a Senior Quality Assurance Automation Engineer.\nThe Data Innovations Senior Quality Assurance Automation Engineer will have extensive experience designing automated solutions to perform web application, mobile, API, and full system validation. This person will have an influential role within our organization helping to drive the usage of AI-driven automation solutions through regular collaboration with our development team.\nEssential Functions and Responsibilities:\nDesign and implement AI-focused test automation framework (e.g., self-healing test scripts, AI-assisted test case generation, intelligent test prioritization).\n\nDesign and build end to end and regression automation tests for all layers of the application (UI and API).\n\nHelp define and implement QA practices, procedures, standards, and reporting.\n\nCollaborate with Quality Assurance Manager in planning and implementing Performance Testing.\n\nProvide daily status reports of testing progress and issues.\n\nParticipate in all aspects of the Agile process (Daily meetings, Refinement, Planning, Retrospective and demos).\n\nSupport and enhance the existing testing process by suggesting continuous improvement initiatives.\n\nProvide mentoring and training on automation for remote team and new team members.\n\nRequirements\nKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities:\nUnderstanding of AI automation design patterns and software testing principles and methodologies\n\nExperience working with industry automation tools, such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Appium, SoapUI\n\nProficiency in at least one programming language commonly used for test automation (e.g., Java, Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, or C#)\n\nFamiliarity with performance testing tools such as JMeter, k6, or Gatling\n\nExperience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and test management/defect tracking tools (e.g., Jira, TestRail, Zephyr)\n\nAbility to evaluate emerging AI automation tools and make data backed recommendations to leadership\n\nFamiliarity with AI governances and responsible AI practices.\n\nExperience in Continuous Integration environments\n\nExperience working in an Agile software development environment including participation in a team using one of the more commonly used process frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, XP, or Lean)\n\nStrong written and verbal communication skills\n\nThe ability to easily learn new applications and tools\n\nExperience working in a mobile, web, or back-end application development environment\n\nMust comply with and pass initial background check and drug screening, as well as subsequent background checks, drug screenings and vaccine requirements as required by customer contracts\n\nAbility to follow DI’s policies, procedures, system usage practices.\n\nMust have unrestricted work authorization in the United States\n\nEducation and/or Experience\nBachelor’s degree in Engineering/Computer Science and at least 4 years’ experience in testing automation role OR at least 8 years’ experience working in a related field from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired.\nPhysical Requirements/Working Conditions:\nWhile performing duties of this job, the employee is predominately functioning in a sedentary light office position with high frequency of telephone communication, keyboarding, and computer.\nPreferred skills and experience:\nIn addition to the above requirements, the ideal employee/candidate will have experience with the following:\nExperience in regulated industry\n\nExperience developing AI driven automation frameworks\n\nSupervision Level\nThis person reports directly to the Director of Software Quality Assurance.\nCompensation and Benefits \nSalary Range: $119,200 - 141,200 (Compensation will vary based on skills and experience)\n\nBonus Eligibility: Full-time, non-sales employees are eligible for DI’s annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance.\n\nBenefits: DI offers a competitive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, basic life insurance, paid holidays, paid time off, and a 401(k) matching plan.\n\nIf you like working with happy, enthusiastic over-achievers, you'll enjoy your career with us!\nEqual Opportunity Employer/Protected Veterans/Individuals with Disabilities:\nThis employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
