You’ll:\nBuild, improve and extend AWS infrastructure supporting production applications and services.\nImplement and manage Kubernetes environments and create and upgrade Helm charts.\nBuild and improve CI/CD pipelines, automating build, testing and deployment processes.\nUse Infrastructure as Code, including Terraform and Ansible, to create consistent and repeatable environments.\nImprove monitoring and logging, helping teams identify issues and optimise application and infrastructure performance.\nAutomate infrastructure and operational processes using Bash and Python.\nTroubleshoot complex infrastructure, networking, database and production issues.\nWork closely with software engineers to improve development and deployment processes.\nHelp design scalable architecture for large customer environments.\nIdentify opportunities to improve performance, reliability, security and cloud cost efficiency.\nSupport incident management, root-cause analysis, disaster recovery and continuous improvement.\nWhat You Bring\n5+ years' DevOps / infrastructure engineering experience in production environments.\nStrong hands-on experience with AWS.\nExcellent knowledge of Linux administration.\nStrong experience with Docker and Kubernetes.\nHands-on experience with Terraform and Ansible.\nExperience building and managing CI/CD pipelines; GitLab CI/CD experience is particularly useful.\nStrong scripting skills using Bash and/or Python.\nGood understanding of cloud networking, routing and troubleshooting.\nExperience working with web services such as NGINX, Apache and Tomcat.\nStrong troubleshooting skills and the ability to diagnose complex production issues.\nExcellent communication skills and the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly.\nBonus Points For\nExperience with Helm and managing Kubernetes deployments at scale.\nExperience with logging and monitoring platforms.\nKnowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases.\nExperience implementing DevSecOps practices.\nCloud cost optimisation and performance engineering experience.\nExperience designing infrastructure for PaaS or enterprise customer environments.\nPrevious experience within financial services or capital markets.\n A little background on DI\nSimply put - we turn big data problems into smart data solutions\nAt our core, Data Intellect is a data and technology consultancy firm.
