DCJS #11-2294. \nLocation: Virginia\nTravel: Yes (25%)\nSalary Range: $38. - $45.00/hour \nResponsibilities\nPre-installation job site visits with sales team to assist with generating proper scope of work\nCommunicate with the installation manager, customer service, and permitting team, and client on project timeline and milestones\nSupervise and assist installation on pulling cable, rough in, installing conduit, terminate cables at device and headend.\nProvide updated project manager reports weekly\nStays up to date and knowledgeable on new services, technology, and internal processes/procedures.\nQualifications\n10 or more years’ experience installing:\ncommercial access control, video systems, low voltage, and commercial wiring/cabling OR\nKnowledge of building, fire, and life safety codes pertaining to construction and electrical systems\nHigh School diploma/GED preferred\nTechnical/Trade/Vocational school certificate in electronics/electrical is desirable\nStrong electronics knowledge/background (AC/DC theory, series and parallel circuits, open/close loops) and ability and knowledge to use digital volt meters\nKnowledge of IP, Ethernet, and networking protocol and CAT5 technologies preferred\nOther Eligibility Requirements\nMust be able to meet and maintain various certifications, licenses, and/or registrations, in accordance with applicable state laws and as required by the electronic security regulations in the state (s) worked.\nMust be willing to participate in and pass the company’s pre-employment screening process including a background
