Their missions and responsibilities are following:\nAdministrative/permitting:\nFollow up on pending permitting requests (building permit and/or environmental authorization) and maintain understanding of where they are at in the process.\nPrioritize deadlines and deliverables to ensure projects are on track and in compliance with the statement of work.\nManage relationships with local and national administrative authorities to ensure smooth regulatory processes.\nPrepare and coordinate environmental authorization applications, working closely with internal teams and external stakeholders.\nCompile and submit administrative permit applications (e.g., building permits, development permits), ensuring regulatory compliance and completeness of documentation.\nMonitor regulatory developments and administrative changes that may impact project permitting requirements.\nDesign phase\nSupport entire design phase to ensure that the target data center meets Data4's and Customer’s needs\nLead engineering teams for the design phases\nAct as interface between Operations and Design teams throughout the project.\nConstruction & Commissioning Phase\nActively participate in the tendering phase and awarding of contracts for the implementation part\nTrack project updates, project status, uncovering and relaying issues, solutions resolution and cost/budget associated with each project.\nMonitor the realization phase daily to ensure that the work complies with the contracts\nManage the respect of the Health and Safety rules during the whole construction phase\nManage service providers with a direct contractual link with the project owner ( energy provider, control office, safety coordinator, CSI, design office, architect, property owner, project manager, etc.)\nAct as an interface between the Operations and Construction teams throughout the project\nManage the commissioning operations in relation with the Commissioning Agent and the project management\nGradually put the operations team of the future site in a position to take over the site as soon as it is made available (training on the technical packages, documentation, drafting of simplified procedures, etc.),\nProject Management\nConduct all meetings necessary to manage the project, in relation with the general contractor, project management team, and the final customer \nDocument the project, including as-built documentation\nGenerate the reporting required for this type of operation\nEnsure the budgetary follow-up of the project in collaboration with the prime contractor and the finance department of Data4\nFinancial oversight on capital budget allocation, expense, and cost.\nImplement automation tools and techniques to streamline and enhance processes.\nTransversal Missions\nElaboration of a Data4 Design Specification\nAssistance to Sales/Pre-Sales teams in complex pre-sales processes involving technical and design issues\nParticipation in customer audits for the design of Data Centers\nLeading specific missions (if applicable; example: uptime certification, reliability studies, etc.)\nSupporting the operational team on specific subjects\nTechnical referent for our Key Accounts and Hyperscalers customers\nTechnology Watch\nEnsure the technological watch on the best practices of design and implementation of data centers at the international level\nParticipation, if necessary, in specialized events\nVisits to Data Centers (customers, competitors, others.)\nEXPERIENCE REQUIRED\nEducation and experience\nIdeally a graduate of higher education (Engineer or equivalent) in the field of electrical/climate engineering or generalist, the training is not a prerequisite, the quality of experience, knowledge of the market and personal qualities take precedence over the rest.\nExperience: at least 5 years within a construction project management company, a design office, or even an installer on project management issues, allowing to have significant knowledge in areas where continuity of service is essential and technical knowledge allowing to pilot the various areas concerned.\nTechnical skills\nThe candidate must possess the following skills:\nProven track record in project management, preferably in the hosting or service integration industries\nExperience managing projects in an occupied site (preferred)\nProven skills and taste for cross-functional team management and teamwork to lead projects\nGood level in civil works and/or HVAC and/or Electrical and/or Security/Networks and/or BMS\nKnowledge in general design of industrial buildings with issues close to Data Centers (continuity of service, security, etc.),\nProven ability to work under pressure and with others\nAbility to work simultaneously with several projects\nAbility to analyze and summarize\nAbility to \"popularize\" the technique and the benefits for non-experts thanks to a discourse adapted to the interlocutor and to their needs and constraints\nGood command of document writing\nMastery of Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project and AutoCAD applications.\nEnglish with a very good written/oral level\nThe candidate does not require the following, but it would be an advantage\nProject Management training such as PMI or equivalent\nExperience working in English-speaking environments\nSoft skills\nSense
