The work includes transforming business requirements into analytical solutions, improving reporting performance, and contributing to data governance.\n\nPosition overview\n\nWe are looking for a Data & Visualization Engineer with experience in Snowflake, SQL, data modeling, and BI tools. You will be involved in building data models, developing dashboards, supporting stakeholders, and improving analytics workflows across the organization.\nWorking time shedule: GMT-4\nResponsibilities\nDesign and build data models connecting the Snowflake data warehouse to downstream analytics layers\n\nDevelop and optimize data transformation logic, including views, schemas, and staging areas\n\nDefine business logic and calculations to support a single source of truth\n\nDocument data lineage and relationships within data models\n\nDesign and develop dashboards with a focus on data storytelling, visual design, and user experience\n\nBuild analytics solutions using BI tools such as Power BI and Looker based on business and stakeholder needs\n\nTroubleshoot and optimize report performance and data quality issues\n\nTranslate business requirements into analytical solutions\n\nCollaborate with cross functional stakeholders to understand data needs\n\nPresent analytical findings and insights to leadership and operational teams\n\nLead proof of concept projects to test and implement analytical patterns and technologies\n\nContribute to data governance activities, including naming conventions, access management, and security compliance\n\nMaintain technical documentation for data pipelines, models, and dashboard inventories\n\nRequirements\nExperience with Snowflake and advanced SQL, including query optimization, schema design, and semantic views\n\nUnderstanding of dimensional modeling, data warehousing concepts, and structuring data for analytics\n\nExperience with a modern BI tool such as Looker, Power BI, or Tableau\n\nExperience with dashboard design principles, data storytelling, and user focused visualization\n\nPractical experience working in AI assisted development settings using Copilot or other GenAI tools\n\nNice to have\nFamiliarity or hands on experience with dbt for transformation and modeling workflows\n\nFamiliarity with the Microsoft BI ecosystem, including SSIS and SSRS\n\nFamiliarity with Power BI specific formats such as DAX, Power Query, and PBIP\n\nWhat
