The work involves cross functional cooperation focused on onboarding new data sources, supporting production pipelines, and maintaining reliable data delivery.\nPosition overview\nWe are looking for an experienced, hands-on Data Engineer with strong expertise in Fivetran, dbt, Snowflake, and modern cloud data engineering practices. The candidate should also have experience with Python, and familiarity with AI-assisted development tools such as Claude, Cursor, or VS Code-based AI assistants.\n\nThe role will focus on building scalable ingestion and transformation pipelines, implementing data quality and orchestration patterns, and supporting enterprise data products consumed by analytics and business teams.\nResponsibilities\nDesign end to end data pipelines using Fivetran, dbt, and Snowflake\n\nBuild and support ingestion and transformation pipelines for enterprise data products\n\nConfigure and manage Fivetran connectors across SaaS applications, databases, APIs, and file-based sources\n\nDevelop and maintain dbt models across staging, intermediate, mart, and publish layers\n\nImplement dbt tests, source freshness checks, incremental processing, documentation, and reusable macros\n\nDevelop optimized Snowflake SQL and scalable analytical data models\n\nSupport Snowflake objects, security and RBAC, stages, data sharing, and data loading patterns\n\nImplement data quality, reconciliation, monitoring, and operational alerting\n\nTroubleshoot production pipelines and perform root cause analysis across ingestion and transformation layers\n\nParticipate in Git based development, CI/CD, code reviews, and DEV, QA, and PROD deployments\n\nCollaborate with application, infrastructure, security, analytics, and business teams to onboard new data sources\n\nUse AI-assisted development tools to support coding, troubleshooting, documentation, and code quality\n\nRequirements\n5+ years of Data Engineering or related experience\n\n2+ years of hands-on experience with Snowflake and dbt\n\nProduction experience implementing and supporting Fivetran pipelines\n\nExperience designing reusable ingestion and transformation patterns\n\nStrong SQL skills including complex joins, CTEs, window functions, reconciliation, and query optimization\n\nExperience with Git and CI/CD including branching, pull requests, code reviews, and automated deployment workflows\n\nWorking knowledge of Python for data processing, automation, API integrations, file processing, data validation, and operational scripting\n\nExperience operating within enterprise DEV, QA, and PROD SDLC and change management processes\n\nStrong production troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills\n\nComfort using Claude, Cursor, or VS Code with AI-assisted development capabilities\n\nNice to have\nExperience with Apache Airflow or AWS MWAA for orchestration\n\nExperience with AWS services including S3, IAM, Lambda, Secrets Manager, and FSx\n\nExperience with Salesforce, Marketo, and other SaaS integrations\n\nExperience with REST API and SFTP or file based ingestion\n\nExperience with Snowflake
