The goal is to provide C-level executives and advisors with a unified, reliable reporting layer for strategic decision-making.\nPosition overview\nWe are looking for a Senior Data/Analytics Engineer to work at the intersection of data engineering and business intelligence. In this role, you will own dbt models in Snowflake from design through deployment and build Tableau reporting solutions on top of them. You will have a direct impact on how portfolio, client, and financial data is modeled, governed, and presented across the organization.\n\nThis position requires availability aligned with the EST time zone or at least a four-hour overlap with EST working hours.\nResponsibilities\nDesign, develop, and maintain dbt Core projects, including staging, intermediate, and mart layers\n\nBuild incremental models, snapshots, macros, reusable Jinja components, and testing frameworks\n\nEnsure data quality through testing, documentation, lineage management, and version controlled development practices\n\nDesign dimensional data models and reporting structures for portfolio, client, and financial analytics\n\nDevelop and maintain data ingestion pipelines into Snowflake, including API based integrations\n\nOrchestrate and monitor data workflows using Prefect\n\nIntegrate and standardize data from third party platforms such as Addepar, NetSuite, Salesforce, Morningstar, and UKG through Workato\n\nCreate and maintain Tableau dashboards, published data sources, and reporting assets\n\nOptimize Snowflake performance and cost efficiency through query tuning, warehouse management, and data architecture improvements\n\nCollaborate with business stakeholders to translate reporting and analytics requirements into scalable data solutions\n\nRequirements\n5+ years of experience in Data Engineering or Analytics Engineering\n\nHands on experience with dbt Core in production environments\n\nExperience designing data models, incremental strategies, snapshots, macros, Jinja templates, tests, and documentation in dbt\n\nStrong experience with Snowflake, including performance optimization and cost management\n\nAdvanced SQL skills\n\nStrong understanding of dimensional modeling and star schema design\n\nHands on experience building Tableau dashboards and data sources\n\nExperience with calculated fields, Level of Detail expressions, extracts, live connections, and dashboard performance optimization\n\nExperience with ETL and ELT architectures and API based data ingestion\n\nExperience with workflow orchestration tools such as Prefect or Apache Airflow\n\nUnderstanding of financial services, wealth management, investment management, or portfolio data structures\n\nNice to have\ndbt Analytics Engineering Certification\n\nExperience within wealth management or investment management environments\n\nExperience with Workato or comparable integration platforms\n\nExperience working with Addepar, Morningstar, or Bloomberg data\n\nPython development experience for data engineering workflows\n\nExperience implementing CI/CD practices for dbt projects using GitHub Actions or similar tools\n\nKnowledge of regulatory and privacy requirements related to financial data
