This is one of the most consequential delivery leadership roles in the company. The customers in your portfolio and your team's work directly determine how quickly Data and AI transform how they do business.\nAs a DSA Manager, you set the technical strategy across your portfolio, decide where to invest your team's capacity, and partner with Sales, Pre-Sales, Professional Services, and our Systems Integrator ecosystem to move use cases from kickoff to production. You are a hands-on technical sponsor and trusted advisor to a select group of customers, including their C-suite. You build the systems, operating cadences, and playbooks that make your team and the broader DSA practice sharper over time.\nThe DSAs you lead are senior technical talent, drawn from principal-level solution architecture, top-tier consulting, or senior engineering backgrounds. Hiring, coaching, and growing this team is the heart of the job.\nThe impact you will have:\nHire, coach, and develop a high-performing DSA team. Own career growth, calibrated performance management, and individual development plans.\nOwn capacity planning and investment forecasting across the FINS portfolio. Defend investment decisions with data, alongside sales and field leadership.\nPartner with Sales, Pre-Sales, Professional Services, and Systems Integrator partners to accelerate use case delivery and reduce customer risk.\nDrive measurable customer outcomes: use-case throughput, time-to-production, consumption growth, and renewal rates. Forecast each across your portfolio.\nBring a programmatic approach to running the business. Build the systems, operating cadences, and playbooks that scale the DSA practice.\nShape and promote the value proposition of the DSA role with our internal partners and our customers.\nWhat we look for:\n5+ years of experience managing a customer-facing technical team (DSA, Solution Architect, Technical Account Manager, Customer Success Engineer, or equivalent).\nDemonstrated leadership of a team of pre-sales or post-sales technical talent.\nTrack record of putting data and AI workloads into production at scale, e.g., as a delivery architect, project manager, DevOps engineer, or service or product owner.\nConversant with the business problems and Data and AI use cases in financial services (banking, capital markets, insurance, or asset management preferred).\nA bias for building systems, not just running them. A bias for growing people, not just managing them.\nTrack record of overachievement against quota, Goals or similar objective targets\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent experience through work experience\nCan travel up to 30% when needed\nAbout Databricks\nDatabricks is the Data and AI company.
