From new office launches to critical executive environments, you’ll help define the standards, infrastructure, and operational excellence that power communication at scale.\nThis is a highly cross-functional role requiring strong technical depth, executional excellence, and the ability to thrive in a fast-moving, high-growth environment.\nWhat You’ll Do\nLead Enterprise Communication Infrastructure\nOwn the deployment, reliability, and evolution of enterprise voice, conferencing, and workplace communication systems\nLead high-impact infrastructure initiatives supporting employees, executives, and global offices\nEnsure seamless communication experiences across conference rooms, executive spaces, and workplace environments\nDrive Global Office Expansion\nPartner with PM, Workplace, Real Estate, Construction, Networking, and Facilities teams to support aggressive global office buildouts\nLead communication and workplace technology deployments for new offices, renovations, and infrastructure upgrades\nDevelop scalable standards for conference rooms, executive environments, and workplace communication systems\nManage multiple concurrent deployments while maintaining operational excellence across existing offices\nOperate at a Deep Technical Level\nDesign and support enterprise voice and AV infrastructure connectivity, conferencing systems, and workplace integrations.\nTroubleshoot complex communication and media issues across global environments\nBuild automation and operational tooling to improve scalability, reliability, and efficiency\nPartner Across the Company\nWork closely with Infrastructure, Security, Networking, Workplace, and Executive Support teams to define and deliver communication solutions\nCoordinate vendors, telecom providers, and integration partners to execute large-scale infrastructure projects\nRaise the Bar\nContinuously improve the reliability, scalability, and quality of workplace communication experiences\nCreate operational standards, documentation, and deployment playbooks that scale globally\nMentor team members and help elevate engineering practices across the organization\nWhat We’re Looking For\nCore Requirements\n8+ years supporting enterprise unified communications, workplace technology, or enterprise infrastructure environments\nStrong expertise in:\nEnterprise voice and conferencing systems\nConference room and workplace AV systems\nNetworking fundamentals including QoS and media optimization\nTroubleshooting complex communication environments\nSupporting large-scale global environments and fast-paced growth\nManaging communication infrastructure for office buildouts and workplace deployments\nAutomation and scripting tools\nCommunication and stakeholder management skills\nBA/BS or equivalent practical experience\nStaff-Level Signals\nYou’ve led large-scale communication or workplace infrastructure initiatives\nYou build scalable systems and operational standards across global environments\nYou thrive in ambiguity and operate with high ownership and autonomy\nYou proactively identify risks and drive reliability for business-critical systems\nYou successfully manage aggressive timelines across multiple projects and stakeholders\nYou influence technical direction across teams without direct authority\nNice to Have\nExperience supporting executive environments or large-scale conference room deployments\nFamiliarity with enterprise AV design and workplace technology standards\nRelevant certifications in collaboration, networking, AV, or telecom technologies\nExperience with automation, observability, or Infrastructure-as-Code practices\nWhy This Role Matters\nAs Databricks continues to scale globally, communication and workplace technology are foundational to how employees connect, operate, and execute.\nIn this role, you won’t just support infrastructure-you’ll help build the communication backbone of a rapidly growing global company.\nPay Range Transparency\nDatabricks is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The pay range(s) for this role is listed below and represents the expected salary range for non-commissionable roles or on-target earnings for commissionable roles. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to job-related skills, depth of experience, relevant certifications and training, and specific work location. Based on the factors above, Databricks anticipates utilizing the full width of the range.
