Must have 5 years experience configuring, deploying, and troubleshooting networking, SIP/VoIP services, and telephony solutions. You will be responsible for the design, implementation, support, and maintenance of enterprise voice and unified communications solutions. The successful candidate will deliver reliable, secure, and high-quality voice services while supporting customer implementations, maintaining existing environments, and ensuring the ongoing stability, performance, and continuous improvement of the voice platform.\nDuties & Responsibilities\nQualifications and Experience Required:\n\nMatric plus, relevant IT qualification\n\n5 years' experience configuring, deploying, and troubleshooting networking, SIP/VoIP services, and telephony solutions.\n\nHands-on experience with the planning, configuration, installation, and troubleshooting of IP PBXs, IP handsets, SIP trunks, and VoIP gateways.\n\nExperience with one or more of the following platforms or technologies will be advantageous: PortaOne, Yeastar, 3CX, MAN3000, PhonEX One, Microsoft Teams Calling, Cloud Contact Centre platforms, AudioCodes, Oracle Communications, Cisco Collaboration, Yealink, Snom, Fortigate, Meraki\n\nGood understanding of networking concepts, including: LAN, WAN, VLANs, Layer 2 and Layer 3 networking, Routing and switching, Quality of Service (QoS), TCP/IP, DNS, NAT, and firewall principles\n\nStrong troubleshooting and analytical skills.\n\nExcellent communication and customer service skills.\n\nValid South African driver's licence and own reliable vehicle\n\nRole Responsibilities:\n\nDesign, deploy, configure, and support IP telephony and VoIP solutions.\n\nImplement and maintain customer voice services, including customer profiles, SIP trunks, Session Border Controllers (SBCs), and voice gateways.\n\nConfigure, deploy, and support both cloud-hosted and on-premises PBX platforms.\n\nTroubleshoot VoIP faults, including voice quality, SIP signalling, call routing, media path, and network-related issues.\n\nPerform system upgrades, migrations, patching, and preventative maintenance.\n\nMonitor the voice infrastructure and proactively identify and resolve service issues.\n\nLiaise with carriers and service providers to resolve interconnection, routing, and service-related issues.\n\nDrive the ongoing development and enhancement of the VoIP platform by identifying new features, implementing best practices, and maintaining technical documentation.\n\nEnsure the correct configuration, staging, testing, and deployment of ISP and customer VoIP equipment in accordance with the company standards and best practices.\n\nProduce and maintain technical documentation, implementation guides, and standard operating procedures.\n\nProvide technical support to internal teams and customers and participate in an on-call support roster when
