2. Key Responsibilities
As the Lead Product Security Engineer, you will play a central role in building new systems required to support major new business initiatives and establishing the ideal security posture for those systems.
You will be responsible for defining the security strategy and direction necessary to achieve a high level of security, working closely with both engineering team members and stakeholders across the organization. In other words, this is a leadership role responsible for driving product security across the company.
From an implementation perspective, the role requires not only knowledge of standard web application infrastructure, but also an understanding of financial systems and blockchain-specific security considerations. You will be expected to establish and maintain a robust security architecture capable of meeting the high security requirements of these domains.

In next-generation financial systems, backend and blockchain technologies are critical components of the product. They play an essential role in ensuring scalability, maintainability, security, and effective integration with other technical domains.
These areas require engineers to continuously deepen their expertise while supporting stable, sustainable development over the long term. In this role, you will be expected to take a medium- to long-term perspective, contribute to technology selection and improvements to development processes, and help strengthen our in-house engineering capabilities.

Required Qualifications
- Experience with cloud application security testing and vulnerability assessments
- Experience working for a security vendor, or equivalent security expertise
- Practical experience related to the Act on the Protection of Personal Information (APPI), data protection, or data governance and controls
- Strong interest in blockchain technology
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in security roles within the financial or FinTech industry
- Knowledge of or experience with system audits and information security audits
- Experience designing, operating, or leading incident response processes
- Experience establishing information security or related organizational functions
- Experience sharing technical knowledge or publishing technical content in the engineering domain
- Experience developing blockchain-related systems or applications

- Able to assess the current state of systems, define the desired future state, and lead teams in building high-quality systems
- Able to balance business, organizational, and technical considerations and clearly articulate what should be done from a technical perspective
- Able to collaborate with engineers and Tech Leads across the company to shape a strong engineering culture
- Proactively works to deepen technical expertise and takes the initiative in building the development environments and engineering organization necessary to create high-quality systems
