If you enjoy a dynamic environment and diverse challenging tasks, our expanding team is the right place for you.\n\nAbout the job:\n\nWe’re growing our team in Sofia and looking for a Senior Business Intelligence Consultant (Databricks & Python) to join us. You will work directly with our clients – active in energy trading and risk management – to provide analysis, design, implementation, testing, and support services for their front office and risk management activities. You will report to your team lead, as well as internal and external project managers/product owners on your assigned projects.\n\nResponsibilities:\n\nWork directly with clients to understand their reporting and risk-management needs, and shape solutions around them\n\nValidate and interpret data to ensure accuracy before it reaches a dashboard or report\n\nOwn the reporting layer end-to-end, from Databricks-based data flows through to Power BI delivery\n\nAutomate and extend data processing using Python where off-the-shelf ETL tools fall short\n\nLead client-facing sessions – presenting findings, gathering feedback, and adjusting solutions accordingly\n\nMentor and distribute work across junior team members on your projects\n\nDeliver internal and customer-facing training on BI tools and processes\n\nRequirements:\n\nTechnical skills:\n\nHands-on Databricks experience is required – you should be comfortable with its Lakehouse architecture (Delta tables, notebooks, workflows), not just aware of it as a platform name\n\nPython scripting ability – enough to automate and troubleshoot data flows, not just read code\n\nPower BI experience is a plus\n\nStrong, hands-on knowledge of relational databases (Snowflake, Oracle, Postgres or similar)\n\nSoft skills:\n\nConfident presenting to both technical stakeholders and business clients\n\nFluent English\n\nProven ability to lead and mentor team members\n\nComfortable prioritizing across multiple client engagements simultaneously\n\nA cooperative, „trial-and-error“ mindset\n\nWillingness to travel occasionally to client
