Help Keep Critical Infrastructure Running
At Datacom, our Data Centres provide the foundation that powers some of New Zealand and Australia's most important organisations. We're looking for a highly organised and customer-focused Data Centre Delivery Coordinator to help coordinate operational activities, customer requests, and project delivery across our Data Centre environments.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with multiple stakeholders, managing competing priorities, and ensuring work is delivered smoothly and efficiently. It is particularly well suited to someone currently working within Data Centre Operations who is looking to broaden their experience and take the next step in their career.
What You'll Be Doing
In this role, you'll coordinate a wide range of operational and customer activities, including:
- Scheduling and coordinating work for Data Centre operational teams
- Managing customer requests from initiation through to completion
- Coordinating installations, decommissions, audits, compliance activities, and cabling work
- Supporting procurement processes, purchase orders, approvals, and vendor coordination
- Maintaining customer records and operational schedules
- Working closely with customers, Delivery Managers, Operations teams, and other internal stakeholders
- Monitoring resource availability and helping ensure successful delivery outcomes
- Preparing reports, documentation, and customer communications
- Supporting continuous improvement initiatives across Data Centre operations
What You'll Bring
We're looking for someone who combines strong coordination skills with excellent communication and customer service.
You'll ideally have:
- Experience in coordination, administration, planning, scheduling, procurement, project support, or operational delivery roles
- Strong business writing and stakeholder communication skills
- Excellent organisational and time management abilities
- Experience managing multiple requests and priorities simultaneously
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel
- A customer-first mindset and attention to detail
- The ability to work collaboratively across technical and non-technical teams
Preferred but not required
- Familiarity with Datacom Data Centre operations
- Experience using Power BI
- Experience with NetSuite or procurement systems
- PRINCE2 or other project management qualifications
- Experience supporting operational or infrastructure environments
