They should be intimately familiar with the languages and design patterns used in the application and strive to deliver code that is well structured and maintainable.\nIt is their job to understand the business requirements for a feature or component of the application or platform and deliver the code to fulfil those requirements. The developer will be responsible for working with the relevant domain team members to ensure that all solutions are developed/coded and configured (including reporting) to ensure that the solution achieves the intended business requirements. We are looking for someone who is not only technically strong, but also excels in communication, and collaboration.\nWhat you’ll bring\nSolid experience with developing mobile apps within agile teams \nProven product development skills and experience in iOS development \nIdeally, have built mobile apps in Swift / UI Kit / Xcode for at least the past 5+ years \nExperienced with modern iOS development concepts \nExperience building and maintaining apps with a large userbase \nExperience building reusable and testable code \nExperience in unit and UI testing, code reviews and debugging \nExperience with software architecture and design principles \nExperience with modularization is an added advantage \nExperience in DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines, containerisation and deployment automation \nFamiliar with app deployment using App Store Connect, TestFlight and Firebase App Distribution \nIntegrates AI effectively into engineering workflows to improve quality and efficiency, with strong judgement on appropriate use and the ability to coach others on responsible AI practices \nGood business experience and knowledge across several industries to help reshape parts of the business and deliver agreed outcomes \nExcellent communication skills, with a strong focus on helping create collaborative and productive teams \nGood conceptual and problem-solving skills, with the ability to break down complex problems, deliver practical solutions and quickly learn and pick up new technologies \nResponsibilities\nDesign, develop, test and maintain applications and integration solutions \nDevelop code in a clear and maintainable way with a focus on ease of use, performance and security \nBe familiar with development frameworks and good practices \nUse established and common design patterns \nWork with the delivery team to design and deliver customer outcomes \nWork with QA team to design and run functional tests \nWork with the Business Analyst to resolve gaps or ambiguities in the functional requirements and design \nTroubleshoot and resolve technical issues promptly, including participating in after-hours support when required \nCreate and maintain documentation throughout the SDLC to support transparency and knowledge sharing \nAnalyse recurring issues, lead continuous improvement initiatives and refine support procedures to minimise downtime \nEnsure compliance with governance standards \nWhy join us here at Datacom?\nDatacom is one of Australia and New Zealand’s largest suppliers of Information Technology professional services.
