A close knit and fun team embedded within our rapidly growing Professional Services division, and part of the wider Datacom ecosystem.\nAbout the Role\nAs a Senior Data & Analytics Consultant/Engineer, you will lead the technical delivery of large-scale data platform and BI solutions. You will be asked to design, implement and own the delivery of robust Data Platform solutions and end-to-end components. The role will work closely with principal consultants, practice leads, project managers, and client stakeholders and teams. This is a client facing role, so you'll need to be an excellent communicator and good with people.\nWhat You’ll Do\nWorking with clients (businesses users) to gather, clarify requirements and business rules by running workshops with stakeholders.\nProvide overall thought leadership to our clients regarding data profiling and integration recommendations.\nDesign, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and data platform solutions.\nDevelop and optimize data models, transformations, and database objects within Snowflake.\nTroubleshoot data pipeline issues and ensure the timely delivery of critical business data.\nBuild, support, and enhance workflow orchestration processes using Apache Airflow.\nContribute to CI/CD processes and DevOps practices to improve deployment reliability and efficiency.\nAbility to perform performance tuning and optimisation on new and/or existing data warehouse solutions.\nProvide detailed documentation, end user training and knowledge-transfer services to customers, and internal teams.\nManaging development life cycle using various source code management tools.\nRequired Skills and Qualifications\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills to work collaboratively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.\nProven track-record of designing and building modern data platforms in a Data Engineering or Analytics Engineering capacity.\nHands-on experience designing and maintaining Snowflake database objects, including tables, views, schemas, stages, and stored procedures.\n5+ years of experience developing data engineering solutions using Python and SQL, including automation, data processing, and integration with platforms such as Snowflake and Apache Airflow.\n5+ years of experience using Apache Airflow to build, schedule, monitor, and support data pipelines, including managing workflow dependencies and troubleshooting operational issues.\n5+ years of experience designing and implementing enterprise data warehouse solutions, including dimensional modelling (star and snowflake schemas) and Slowly Changing Dimensions (SCD).\nExperience working with CI/CD practices and deployment pipelines.\nFamiliarity with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform.\nExperience with dbt (Data Build Tool) is a plus.\nNice to have\nAdvanced skills in Azure, Fabric, and Snowflake pipelines, with experience in tools such as Azure Data Factory, Coalesce, Matillion, dbt, Databricks, Fivetran, and Airflow (must have)\nSnowPro, Coalesce, Microsoft Azure, or Microsoft Fabric certifications are highly regarded.\nStrong skills in data platform implementation, configuration, performance and cost management tuning (i.e. Azure, Fabric, Snowflake)\nHands-on experience with Power BI and/or other business intelligence and data visualization tools.\nCulture and Benefits\nJoin a team where you'll be supported to grow your career, prioritise your wellbeing, and make a genuine impact.
