Working closely with customers, project teams, and business stakeholders, you will design, develop, and optimise Salesforce solutions that help organisations achieve their strategic objectives. This role combines hands-on Salesforce expertise with leadership, consulting, and solution architecture responsibilities, ensuring platforms remain secure, scalable, and aligned to business needs while supporting long-term digital transformation outcomes.\nOur offices are based in Wellington. We therefore leave it to you and the team you join to figure out what works best!\nWhat You’ll Do\nAt the moment, as Technical Consultant - Salesforce you will be focused on:\nLeading the design, development, configuration, testing, and deployment of Salesforce solutions across complex customer environments.\nProviding technical leadership and guidance across Salesforce platform capabilities, custom development, integrations, and automation.\nCollaborating with customers, project managers, business analysts, and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions.\nProducing technical designs, architecture recommendations, and implementation plans aligned with best practice.\nDesigning and delivering integrations between Salesforce and enterprise applications using APIs and integration platforms.\nSupporting operational excellence through platform optimisation, performance tuning, and ongoing enhancements.\nContributing to solution governance, technical standards, and future Salesforce platform roadmaps.\nProviding expert advice on Salesforce capabilities, emerging technologies, and innovation opportunities.\nMentoring team members and supporting the resolution of complex technical challenges.\nPromoting security, compliance, data integrity, and platform governance best practices.\nEnsuring adherence to Datacom health and safety policies and procedures.\nWe are a pretty agile company, and are keen to respond to customer, technology and internal stakeholders’ changing requirements and this can mean we evolve in our roles to meet those needs.\nRequirements\nWhat You’ll Bring\nRequired experience:\n3+ years of Salesforce consulting, development, or technical delivery experience.\nStrong hands-on experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and platform capabilities.\nProven experience delivering complex Salesforce implementations and enhancements.\nExperience with Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Flows, and Salesforce integrations.\nStrong understanding of Salesforce architecture, security models, and data management.\nExperience integrating Salesforce with enterprise applications and third-party platforms.\nTechnical leadership experience within complex customer environments.\nExcellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.\nStrong customer relationship management and stakeholder engagement skills.\nExceptional communication, presentation, planning, and documentation skills.\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline, or equivalent industry experience.\nNice to have:\nSalesforce Platform Developer I or II certification.\nSalesforce Administrator or Advanced Administrator certification.\nSalesforce Application Architect or System Architect certification.\nExperience with MuleSoft or other integration platforms.\nExperience delivering Salesforce solutions within enterprise or government environments.\nExposure to DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines within Salesforce ecosystems.\nKnowledge of Agile delivery methodologies.\nExperience with Salesforce Experience Cloud, Marketing Cloud, or Data Cloud.\nStrong mentoring and people leadership experience.\nBenefits\nCulture and Benefits\nJoin a team where you'll be supported to grow your career, prioritise your wellbeing, and make a genuine impact.
