You will be asked to design, implement and own the delivery of robust Data Platform and Insight solutions. Our Senior Consultants work closely with our client stakeholders/teams and our internal Principal Consultants, Practice Leads, and Project Managers. This is a client facing role, so you'll need to be an excellent communicator with great engagement and presentation skills across a range of stakeholder levels.\nWhat You’ll Do\nWorking with clients (businesses users) to identify consulting opportunities, and eliciting stakeholders requirements through workshops facilitation.\nContribute to the technical architecture, design and delivery for new modern data and insight platforms using innovative ideas and your proven experience in the latest trends for data-powered decision enablement.\nProvide thought leadership to our clients regarding data management and integration recommendations.\nDesign data models (relational and dimensional modelling) across different data domains and industries.\nDesign and deployment AI solutions for data migration, data modelling, application modernization and data warehouse migrations to name but a few.\nAbility to perform performance tuning and optimisation on new or existing data platforms and insight solutions.\nManage development life cycles using various source code management tools including our AI modernisation techniques and products.\nAbility to design and develop customised self-service solutions using Power BI, with an in-depth knowledge of the different deployment options.\nProvide detailed technical documentation, end user training and knowledge-transfer services to customers, and internal teams. \nEssential Skillset & Experience\nProven experience designing, building and modernising Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) and analytics platforms.\nStrong knowledge of data modelling and data warehousing principles, including Star Schema and Snowflake Schema design.\nExtensive experience with modern cloud-based data platforms such as Snowflake, Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data Platform, or Databricks.\nHands-on expertise developing and maintaining data pipelines, dataflows and ETL/ELT frameworks.\nAdvanced SQL and Python development skills for data engineering and analytics solutions.\nStrong experience with Power BI, including semantic modelling, Power Query, DAX and dashboard development.\nExperience implementing CI/CD pipelines, Git-based source control and deployment automation within data platforms.\nStrong understanding of data platform performance optimisation, governance, scalability and cost management.\nExperience working with cloud technologies, particularly Microsoft Azure and/or AWS.\nProven ability to engage, consult and influence stakeholders at all levels, translating business requirements into scalable technical solutions.\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills, with strong consulting and stakeholder management capabilities.\nMinimum 2 years' experience delivering data warehousing, data platform or business intelligence solutions.\nMinimum 5+ years' experience developing semantic data models and reporting solutions.\nBachelor’s and Master’s degree in computer science, Business, or a related discipline. \nDesirable Skills & Experience\nExperience leading large-scale Enterprise Data Warehouse migration programmes.\nHands-on expertise with Snowflake technologies, including Cortex, Coalesce, Snowflake Data Pipelines and Data Sharing capabilities.\nHands-on expertise with Databricks, including Lakehouse architecture, Autoloader, Delta Live Tables and Workflows.\nExperience using modern data integration and automation tools such as dbt, Fivetran, Matillion, Coalesce or Azure/Fabric Data Factory.\nExperience with legacy and traditional data warehousing technologies including Oracle, PL/SQL, Unix Scripting, EssBase and Business Objects.\nSnowPro certification.\nMicrosoft Azure Data Engineer, Fabric Analytics Engineer, or equivalent cloud data certification.\nExperience delivering solutions within consulting, managed services or Tier 1/Tier 2 service provider environments.\nExperience with data governance, master data management and modern data architecture frameworks.\nExperience mentoring technical teams and providing architectural leadership across data and analytics engagements.\nCulture and benefits\nJoin a team where you'll be supported to grow your career, prioritise your wellbeing, and make a genuine impact.
