About the role (your why)

Lead a talented accounting team to deliver accurate, timely monitoring, preparation, and analysis of financial information and documentation for our accounting service. This role blends strategic leadership with hands-on accounting, overseeing reconciliations, ledger maintenance, and month-end close while resolving complex queries and variances. You will champion compliant, best-practice accounting principles, strengthen internal controls, and partner with cross-functional teams to enable informed business decisions. What you’ll bring

  • CA or CPA Qualification is a MUST
  • Experience Managing and leading a high performing team
  • Experience influencing stakeholders through challenging situations
  • Previous involvement in the implementation of a new accounting system or management and evolution of an existing system
  • Ability to manage complex issues of diverse scope where analysis of situation or data requires evaluation of a variety of factors, including an understanding of current business trends
  • Exercises judgment in selecting methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for obtaining results
  • Ability to frequently interact with a variety of stakeholders and team members
  • Strong system skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and enterprise resource planning software (ERP)
  • Working knowledge of Oracle or a similar sized ERP system
  • Advanced Excel skills

What You’ll Do

  • Record-2-Report activities
  • Managing a team ensuring accounting services deliverables are met in a timely and accurate manner
  • Preparation and review of financial documents, reports and information including conducting any analyses’ and resolving any variances
  • Collaborating with the Accounting team in financial planning, analysis, and reporting activities
  • Supporting the preparation of accounting records and financial reports as per Datacom standards
  • Performing month-end close activities. Generating and maintaining general ledgers and any adjustments
  • Assisting with annual audit preparations
  • Ensuring all accounting tasks are completed within the set timeframe and any issues addressed as they arise
  • Investigating and resolving audit findings, account discrepancies and issues of non-compliance
