Supporting the Senior Manager of GTM FP&A, together you would be responsible for the budgeting and forecasting for some or all of these departments. You will partner closely with our strategy team to understand past sales and/or marketing performance, and influence the company’s go-forward strategy. We operate as a hybrid workplace to ensure our Datadogs can create a work-life harmony that best fits them.\nWhat You’ll Do:\nBe the Finance support to go-to-market (GTM) teams which could include Sales, Marketing, and/or Customer Success\nSupport annual planning for headcount, T&E, discretionary spending for GTM\nMeet regularly with the departments to understand budget vs. actual tracking and calibration\nAnalyze sales performance (attainment / productivity, CAC payback) and/or marketing performance (funnel conversion and ROI)\nPartner with the Strategy team to ensure alignment of metrics and reporting\nBe a strategic contributor (in partnership with Strategy) for decisions around sales territory management, commissions planning (and resulting expenses), account segmentation, pricing/packaging decisions, and other strategic decisions\nWork as a part of the broader FP&A team to understand the company’s financials, analytics, and help the organization to scale thoughtfully\nWho You Are:\n3+ years of professional experience in investment banking, equity research, FP&A or other relevant field \nBachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, or economics \nMastery of Excel and PowerPoint with proven experience in building financial models and managing complex data \nStrong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex concepts into easily digestible pieces\nSkilled at building relationships and influencing at all levels of management and cross-functionally\nAbility to provide recommendations to drive execution and decision-making; you are seen as a trusted and objective advisor\nBonus Points:\nMBA or CFA is a plus but not required; \nSolid understanding of Workday Adaptive Planning is a plus, but not required\nExperience in or understanding of a consumption-based software business model\nDatadog values people from all walks of life.
