We operate as a hybrid workplace, in the office three days per week, to ensure our Datadogs can create a work-life harmony that best fits them.\nWhat You’ll Do:\nCollaborate with cross-functional stakeholders-including video producers, product managers, product marketing managers, technical advocacy, and engineers-to create project briefs, outlines, storyboards, and scripts for original videos.\nWrite companion content, including YouTube descriptions, blog posts, and social content.\nUse AI tools to accelerate outlining, research, and development workflows.\nIdentify relevant visual elements and record precise, high-quality screen captures of Datadog products and features.\nEnsure content is technically accurate, reflects Datadog’s voice and tone, and clearly communicates customer value.\nSupport post-production tasks, including video editing, sound mixing, and closed captioning.\nWho You Are:\nYou have a talent for video storytelling, demonstrated through writing samples and a portfolio of past work.\nYou have hands-on video editing experience and proficiency with video editing software such as Premiere or Final Cut Pro, motion graphics tools such as AfterEffects, and AI tools to support video editing.\nYou are comfortable with taking initiative and managing multiple concurrent projects with limited supervision.\nYou have 2-5 years of experience writing scripts for a technology company or working as a technical journalist. Experience as a technical advocate or an engineer is a plus.\nYou have an understanding of how software is developed and run in production, including how teams monitor app performance and address security risks. \nDatadog values people from all walks of life.
