This is a high-ownership, partner-led role. You'll sell a product where the outcome - a completed migration, on time, at a fixed price - is the contract. That's a fundamentally different conversation from traditional software sales, and it requires someone who can earn trust at both the technical and executive levels simultaneously.\nYou will build and run your own pipeline through our data platform partnerships, own the full sales cycle from first call to signed contract, and work closely with our Forward Deployed Engineers to ensure a seamless handoff and customer experience.\nWhat you'll do\nOwn the full sales cycle for new logos across Eastern & Central US and Canada: discovery, technical qualification, proposal, negotiation, and close\n\nBuild and develop pipeline through our partner ecosystem (Databricks, Snowflake, GCP, dbt, Microsoft), including field co-sell, joint account planning, and partner-sourced introductions\n\nRun compelling discovery and value conversations with both data engineering leaders and executive buyers (VP/CTO level)\n\nCollaborate with Forward Deployed Data Engineers to scope migration projects, build SOWs, and set customer expectations on delivery\n\nRepresent Datafold at partner events, field meetups, and customer briefings across the US & Canada\n\nFeed market and competitive intelligence back into product and GTM - you are close to customers and partners; your input shapes how we evolve\n\nWhat we're looking for\n5+ years in enterprise software sales, with at least 2 years selling into the data/analytics space (data platforms, ETL/ELT, data engineering tooling, or adjacent)\n\nProven track record closing new enterprise logos in the US & Canada\n\nExperience with a partner-led or co-sell motion\n\nComfort with technical buyers: you don't need to write SQL, but you need to hold a credible conversation with a data engineering lead about migration complexity, risk, and timelines\n\nOutcome-based or professional services sales experience is a strong plus - selling a fixed-price deliverable is different from selling a SaaS license, and you understand why\n\nSelf-starter with a builder mentality - we have a motion that works, but this is still an early EMEA team and you'll help define how it scales\n\nCompensation\nCompetitive base salary + uncapped commission and equity\nDatafold is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate against any employee or applicant for employment based on race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, genetic information, sexual orientation, gender identity, marital status, military status, or any other protected characteristic.
